Gorgeous Open Water Views & Nightly Sunsets On The Bay

Nice small property right on the water. Perfect for watching the sunsets. Nice friendly area. We would definitely stay here again.

When we first began our research for a home away from home type vacation in Key Largo to get out of a 2017 snowy winter environment, we ran into multiple snags; mostly due to misleading / dishonest website data. Then we found Lime Time and Chevonne (the owner) who was immediately understanding, cooperative and forthright in such a manner to put all our concerns at ease. She let us know our beloved lab puppy would be most welcomed in her home; and that she knew he would have a fantastic stay, along with us. When we talked about our 18 ft skiff she told us all about the easy access, on property ramp to the dock that is attached to the very nice deckwork just right outside of the large peaceful screened porch. Between her details and the pictures, and the more than fair price quoted, we knew we found just the right place; and we began to dream of our Key Largo vacation. Made it through the 2016 holidays talking of things to come, researching the area and planning out our upcoming carefree days. The day for the long, over 1,000 miles arrived and it was quite the trek. But the moment we pulled into the gated parking area and ran to the end of the dock to twirl all around and shout "We are here!" was so truly amazing. And discovering how lovely & comfy the home is was so much fun. Finally, honesty in advertising! It took only a day to truly settle in and to feel the warm breezes push away our cares; and found our favorite spot on the porch. We had dear old friends join us that 2nd day, along with their mid-size doggie, and our vacation family was complete. The next beloved weeks were filled with laughter and peace, fishing and swimming, diving and snorkeling, and daily puppy playing. Investigating the local dining places was nice when we didn't take advantage of the well-equipped kitchen. And every night we were all so pleasantly pooped out (doggies, too) that the cozy warm beds felt so welcoming. Lounging in the fresh sheeted mornings was oh so wonderful on many a cool sunrise. But finding that the manatees and dolphins were early risers got us with binoculars in hand many 6 AMs. Then a quiet breakfast of fresh local fruit was perfect to plot out the day ahead. So many choices and every new day was more fun than the last. We brought kayaks, too (and they are also easily rented up the street) so discovering the wild mangroves just around the corner was a blast. This vacation was a miracle and we are surely planning our next visit.

My wife and I spent a week at Lime Time late December and had an incredible time! Everything was very laid out and organized for us, from the moment we arrived we felt like we were at home. If you are thinking about Key Largo look no further because this is it!!!!

We had a fantastic time diving the reefs and wrecks off Key Largo, but having a quiet, private place to come back to in the evening with a large screened deck to sip a cocktail was the cherry on top! Lime Time was the perfect size for our family of three, but I spent every evening on the deck with my dog. The street and neighbors were quiet and I really felt like I had my personal space which meant a lot to me. The house was very clean and had a very well appointed kitchen and Chevonne was very helpful and quick to respond. My only disappointments were that we didn't have a boat and we had to leave so soon. also, for divers there is abundant space for rinsing gear and hooks for drying.
