PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: some people take themselves too seriously those people shouldn’t rent they should own or try to own - and are not who I want to stay as my guest. Look at the photos make sure it’s what you want because it’s moot to book it then complain as the recent Jill H did, apparently she has other deeper issues and expectations. The sheet she is referring to is a couch cover covering 2 Ralph Lauren sofas that I have no intention of replacing. The couch hovers are there to provide a sanitary environment we can launder them. The leather broyhill recliner is distressed leather and its look is the way it’s made to look. If that offends you then don’t book our loft. If you want new pls choose a new hotel and pay the going rate. The Loft is located on Sunset Drive very close to the park and main st. in the heart of Blowing Rock! If you pop in to see the space we cannot show it during rentals, but I am also happy to set up an appointment. The loft is located in our Hallmark Building, an extraordinary mixed use property located in The Heart of Blowing Rock, an idyllic historic town. The Town of Blowing Rock is a historic gem of the high country where you can escape the hustle bustle and explore natures beauty. Take long hikes and immerse yourself in flora and fauna. The Loft is located in very close proximity to Main Street. It is for adventurous travelers who want to be as close to Main St as possible, want a good comfortable king bed, great internet, some open separate work-space, a living room area that is separate from the bed room in downtown Blowing Rock. The building is a mixed use multi functioning property, if you are expecting a mansion or a boutique hotel or a cabin in the woods, then this is not for you, this is downtown living. There is an exterior front of building photo showing our other businesses separate from the loft, of which none of this impacts the rental. It’s for easy going low maintenance guests who want a clean private loft in walking distance to the park and Main St. and all the dining options in walking distance. Please ask me all questions prior to booking, there is no refunds for confirmations who did not read in detail: no parties no pets no events no sublease, only the approved guest/s are permitted. Once booked, you will have the Loft to yourself. This beats a room in someone's shared house or a cramped hotel room. Because of Ms Ashburns review everything was as described yet she found a few minor items to pick on, I have turned instant booking off. Apparently reading the description isn’t enough for some people and I only want happy customers so ask questions or book elsewhere. One shouldn’t order Champaign on a beer budget in the town of Blowing Rock and then be a critic as if you paid for Champaign’. I do not need the negative people, rather book something else and pay the appropriate price for location. I rearranged the living room and the recliner now faces the tv without the extension cord see updated photos. Winters are challenging in the high country and we always have backup certified radiant heaters in addition to the central heat to keep our building warm. I also posted a picture of the crack in the window she mentioned then you can decide if this will impact your stay, it’s a double paned window the crack is on the inside pane. Everything else is perfect in the loft modern clean, updated and well maintained; but this cracked window is not something I plan to replace until I undertake a huge construction project of replacing all the bay windows. If any of this offends you please don't stay here. Prior to sending me a booking request, please make sure your checkout date is not a Saturday. We do not split the weekend (Friday night and Saturday night with a Sunday checkout. You may send a booking request with a checkout for any night EXCEPT Saturday). No cleaning fee and all rentals 90 days or more are exempt from sales tax
We are offering a lovely suite in our building for a vacation getaway for a single person or a couple only. We work in the downstairs space separated from upstairs and sometimes our esthetician schedules facials but never during your stay. We do not interrupt your stay but you are also welcome to schedule a private facial. The Loft is private, quiet and amazing rare in-town location. What I love about staying here and I do on occasion is being able to walk to restaurants, you don't have to worry about driving if you have enjoyed some beverages. You will have full private access to kitchenette and lots of fine dining to walk to or order in. There is a coffee maker, toaster, microwave and refrigerator. We own a cafe downstairs that is open on weekends and holidays. And we will include daily fresh coffee/cappuccino or espresso during your stay when we are open. The Loft offers 1 Bedroom w King bed/Full Bathroom/Shower, lounge area, wifi desk to work at on bamboo wood floors, no carpet.. I am a clean freak, hands on and expect you will find our place to be impeccable. This is Blowing Rock and sometimes the winds are high, you could expect the attic shutters to rattle a bit if there is extreme high winds, par for the course of living in Blowing Rock! Being in town on weekdays comes with some early morning hustle bustle. If youre a light sleeper or late riser this is not for you. Our building is concrete and I have never found it to be an issue but there is that tendency.

The Loft includes a private room with a beautiful king bed, a full bathroom and a kitchenette area with a fridge, coffee maker, toaster and convection oven, approx 1000sqft with updated bamboo wood floors and tile in the bathroom. The living room has a roomy leather recliner!

The Blowing Rock public outdoor pool is available day passes may be purchased through the town.
