About this house rental
The ideal home for guests looking to enjoy a peaceful vacation: This historic home has been slightly modernized and is beautifully decorated. It features a bedroom with a rock-cut bed, enough space for a child or a crib, and direct access to the terrace. The cozy living room features a small fireplace, as well as direct access to the west-facing veranda.
The bathroom has a direct view of the ocean!
The veranda is partially covered. There are plenty of seats and loungers on the property for you!
Feel free to “make yourself at home!”
In addition, there is a cave and a historic stone circle (400 J.).
You’re very welcome to pick fruit from me that’s ripe for the season.
Since I live on the estate, I can help you both with advice and hands-on assistance.
The nearby village of Punta Gorda has all the shops you need, making self-catering possible.
Of course, there are also restaurants serving local and international cuisine, such as
Environment: The wonderfully clear air here often treats you to spectacular sunsets and breathtaking views of the starry sky.
In about an hour, you’ll reach the island’s highest point, the Roque de los Muchachos, where—thanks to the clear air—some of the world’s largest observatories are located.
There, you can drive up to 2,400 m by car and experience absolutely unique sunsets.
On my very large finca grounds (approximately 40,000 square meters), there is also a historic stone circle and a habitable cave, so you can start your drive home in different directions and won’t always be the first car on the trail...
Punta Gorda also features a particularly interesting weekend farmers’ market, where you can find local products.
There is also a public swimming pool within walking distance.
Despite the steep coastline, there are many places to swim in the sea, including the so-called. “Puerto” in Punta Gorda, where from mid-June through mid-September you can usually enjoy a wonderful swim in the crystal-clear Atlantic Ocean.
The nearest, largest sandy beach is in Tazacorte.
2 km from Punta Gorda is a public swimming pool where, for 2 euros, you can enjoy a nice swim.
There’s a bus stop about a 3-minute walk away; the farthest bus ride costs 2.00 € per person.
In the welcoming village of Punta Gorda, there are two “Telecentros” where, from Monday through Friday, women can typically go online for up to 9 hours a day....
Every day, you’ll have the choice of whether to head out to explore the island and its many beauties, or stay “at home” in one of the many enchanting spots here with us at Finca, and practice “doing nothing”—or just enjoying the summer...!
If you don’t do everything you originally planned for your vacation here, you’re welcome to come back a second and third time—or even more…

There’s no TV, so you won’t even be tempted to turn it on—because nature is simply too wonderful and your time is far too precious...!
"Relax" (or dangle yourself in a hammock among the orange trees), and enjoy the fact that there’s “nothing to do” here—you can simply enjoy your free time and your vacation, so beautiful that you don’t need a “schedule of activities,” which could distract you from the most important and most beautiful time of the year...!
In any case, there are often spectacular natural experiences, gorgeous sunsets, and a marvelous starry sky, where you can... a. Lie on the couch and count the stars twinkling in the sky...

Ruhe, Ruhe, Ruhe…
eine liebevoll eingerichtete Finca inmitten von Grün, Vogelgezwitscher, Panoramablick aufs Meer.
Alles was nötig ist, ist da. Gute Matratzen, schönes gelbes, sonniges Geschirr, tolle Pfannen, Gläser, Toaster, …
und falls man 8 Grad nachts hat steht auch eine Zusatzgasheizung und offenes Feuer im Kamin zur Verfügung.
Jutta ist da sobald sie gebraucht wird und hat Tipps und Vorschläge und hält sich ansonsten angenehm zurück.
Der Blick in die weite Natur und weit runter bis zum Meer ist entspannend und herrlich.
Wir konnten sogar von der neuen Hühnerfamilie Bio-Eier genießen.

Die Terrassen der Biofinca gehen bruchlos in eine Art Naturparkwildnis über. Wer Natur als Theater erleben will, ist hier genau richtig. Es wird sehr viel mehr geboten, als die ohnehin schönen Fotos vermuten lassen. Man ist völlig für sich, aber bei jedem Bedürfnis ist die Fincabesitzerin hilfreich zur Stelle. Man weiß nie, ob man direkt von der Finca zur Wanderung aufbrechen soll oder doch lieber hier bleibt. Ein Glas Wein bei Sonnenuntergang ist nicht zu toppen.

Dieses Jahr hat es uns das erste -und ganz sicher nicht das letzte- Mal nach La Palma gezogen. Unsere Ferienresidenz haben wir aufgrund der schönen Fotos und der darin zu spürenden Ruhe ausgewählt. Das Casa musica-romantica.
Kaum angekommen sind wir sehr freundlich von Jutta willkommen geheissen und in unser „Paradis“ begleitet worden.
Jutta hat uns sofort mit vielen nützlichen Tips und Vorschlägen versorgt.
Eigentlich sollten wir hier nichts schreiben, sonst wollen noch alle dorthin ;-)
Wir haben auf der Finca Gerome sehr viel Ruhe und einen traumhaften, unverbauten Fleck mit Meerblick gefunden. Ein Paradis eben.
Ein gemütliches, mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattetes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Häuschen, mit Terrasse zum Verweilen und Seele baumeln lassen.
Die herzliche Vermieterin hat sich im Hintergrund gehalten ist aber jederzeit wenn man etwas braucht eine hilfreiche Ansprechpartnerin.
Die Zeit ist so schnell wie nie vergangen und wir haben doch nur einen kleinen Teil der herrlichen Insel gesehen. Ein wiederkommen ist schon fast -allerdings eine wunderbare- Pflicht!
Der Abschied ist uns sehr sehr schwer gefallen.
Wir sagen „vielen lieben Dank Jutta" für die schöne Zeit und das du diesen Ort mit deinen Gästen teilst!!!

... war dieser Ort wohl die Vorlage: ein super gemütliches Häuschen an der schönsten Stelle der Insel; eine ganz liebe und herzliche Vermieterin, die hilfsbereit ist und immer gute Tipps geben kann; wunderschöne Natur, Blick bis zum Meer ganz weit unten, Frühstück vor Orangenbäumen.
Die Ruhe ließ uns des öfteren unsere Wanderpläne über den Haufen werfen, sei es, weil wir (zu) lange schlafen konnten oder das Frühstück auf der lauschigen Terasse ausdehnten. Streifzüge durch den herrlich natürlichen Garten, Katzen- und Hundebesuch auf der Terasse, duschen mit Sonnenuntergang und Meerblick, Eidechsen, die sich auf dem Dach wärmen.
Puntagorda bewahrte es sich den rustikalen Charme eines typisch palmerischen Ortes und ist ein toller Platz um Urlaub zu machen. Dazu gehören der morgendliche Einkauf im Tante Emma-Laden ebenso wie ein übliches Palmerisches Abendessen. Genau so gut kann man aber auch im modernen Cafe frühstücken.
Die Casa selbst ist urgemütlich, sauber, hat alles, was man braucht und ist daher absolut empfehlenswert. Wir haben uns immer super wohlgefühlt bei Jutta. Vielen, vielen lieben Dank für die herzliche Aufnahme und alles!
