About this house rental
Lacave is located between Rocamadour and Souillac. Stone house surrounded by a terrace with an exceptional panorama over the Dordogne valley and the Belcastel Castle. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It has one floor and can accommodate up to 7 people. Minimum of 5 nights rental for the period from May to September inclusive. Minimum of three nights for other periods. It has a large fenced interior courtyard and a garden with fruit trees surrounding the house.

Serge's house is a wonderful place to spend a week in the Dordogne area. The house offers you a very comfortable place to stay, and has everything you need. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and the view from the balcony is absolutely stunning. This is such a beautiful and peaceful area to stay - you will need a car to get the most out of staying here though. Serge and his co-host Cathy were both very friendly, helpful and welcoming. There was plenty of information, maps, walk routes etc for the local area - we enjoyed La Grotte de Lacave (walking distance from the house), Rocamadour, kayaking on the Dordogne (via Copeyre Canoe), the Gouffre de Padirac, Chateau to Beynac and the Jardins de Marquissac, the steam train at Martel, as well as a local round walk from the house, and another to the top of Roc Des Monges. Mosquito protection is needed for hot summer nights. Thank you Serge for a truly super week in your lovely home!

We zijn erg prettig ontvangen door Mw Chambon. Huisje voelt als prettig thuis en van alle benodigdheden voorzien. Het is vakantie! En de mogelijkheden om de omgeving te verkennen, zijn ruim. Een echte aanrader!
