Charlie's Place was such a perfect house for our annual beach trip. We had a group of 15 and there was plenty of room and beds. Wonderful deck and awesome boardwalk out to the beach with a sitting area halfway out as well. Just remember to always walk through the designated area to the beach and not through the dunes please! We missed a turtle nest hatching almost directly in front of the house by one night....ugghh. Anyways like I said Charlie's Place was perfect for us and it was a trip to be remembered by all. Couldn't say a bad thing about it. We hope to be back here next summer!

Very bright and well maintained house. After the hurricane in 2020, the owners upgraded the house to make it more beach friendly, replacing old carpeting with vinyl floors, although a full season of rentals has left several chips taken out of the flooring in the kitchen area. Previous reviews mentioned stains and mold, which we found no evidence of. The only issue was bugs, both ants and quite a few large water bugs/palmetto bugs/giant roaches (whatever you want to call them). we have rented other houses on the beach MANY times and understand bugs are not uncommon, but this was excessive and needs attention.
Overall it is a comfortable house.
