About this house rental
This Pacific City Retreat is perfect for small groups and families. It sits nestled on the edge of the Nestucca River to the east. To the west is one row of houses, then the beach and the Pacific Ocean beyond. The house has a wonderful open floor plan so everyone can enjoy time together while relaxing and enjoying the views of wildlife along the river. The back deck is covered with stairs leading down to the backyard. Countless fish have been caught from the banks of the Nestucca right behind the house. You will see people fishing up and down the banks year-round.
Upstairs you will find both bedrooms. The guest bedroom is quite spacious and has its own full en suite bathroom. With a king bed and a twin bed that has a second mattress that can be pulled out below it is a wonderful option for families staying with kids. The master bedroom has plenty of room as well, an ample master bathroom as well as its own private deck overlooking the river and landscape beyond.
Just down Sunset Drive, where you turn on Pacific Avenue, you will see immediate beach access with parking and accessibility for vehicles to drive along sections of the beach. You will also find Green Acres Beach and Trail Rides. Here, you can enjoy guided horseback rides, which are usually ranked the #1 'thing to do' in Pacific City. About a mile down the road enjoy some food and drink at Pelican Brewing Company or the Meridian Bar and Restaurant overlooking Haystack Rock and the Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area. There are enough things to do to fill every day of your stay or you can just relax and enjoy the unparalleled beauty of the Oregon Coast. Whatever you choose, the Rivers Edge Retreat will be a wonderful home to host you for your stay.

We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please stay indoors during this time, keep the windows and doors closed and keep the volume to an enjoyable but reasonable level. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest.

The house was very nice. Everything worked and we really appreciated having our three dogs with us. It's a bit dated but I think that the lower price reflects that. We really liked being by the river - it was much better than being by the beach. It's a great view and we saw lots of birds. We were surprised at how many horses go through the area - I need to keep track of where the horse riding businesses are. Because of the horses we kept our dogs close by. Great access to the beach and to downtown Pacific City. We had a wonderful time.

We've stayed here twice, once each in the past two years and we really enjoy this house. It's functional, we love the location and we are captivated by the birds and the river in general.

this home sits with a beautiful river view and just accross street from beach. Very conveniently located to everything. Home is very nice and welcoming. Will definitely stay there again when visiting Pacific City area.

Unfortunately the couches and dinning room chairs were very old and uncomfortable. Oven and stove top have not been cleaned in a long time if ever.Mold around outside of shower. Love the location and the beds.
