Homely and relaxing. Lovely hosts.

The breakfast was very good. The property is well located, near St Paul de Vence , Vence and also Tourrette sur Loop. The garden is beautiful with the added feature of a decent size pool.

A bathroom inside the room would be a bit more convenient and perhaps less incense fragrance in the room.

Towels and bed linens really plush, that along with good AC helped us have a great night’s sleep.

Our first impression was that we were going to a yard sale, via a path through low hanging trees. On the patio the management was cleaning a lot of stuff both upholstered (chair cushions, throw rugs) and hard goods (coffee pots, dishes, etc). One had to walk through this patio area to access accommodations. There was a musty/mildew odor which concerned us. The odor dissipated but there was a lot of clutter around during our entire stay. If you’re driving there be aware that access is through narrow and steep streets-bring a small car and be ready to maneuver it. This is not specific to Abeille but to Vence and also other hill towns in the south of France.
