About this cottage rental
Starfish Cottage is situated towards the top end of Anna Maria Island. The property is extremely well furnished and equipped with everything we hope you could need to enjoy your holiday.
There are 2 bedrooms as follows:
Bed 1 (with en-suite shower room) with King bed
Bed 2 with twin beds (the beds can be joined to make a King bed if preferred)
If you would like the twin beds joined to make a King bed, this must be requested at the time of booking.
The 2nd bedroom has French doors which lead directly to the pool (these doors are fitted with alarms). The family bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, basin and WC.
Outside in the tropically landscaped garden you will find the free form pool with waterfall which is shared with the occupants of our 2 smaller cottages (at most there would be 8 people using the pool), loungers, chairs and tables. There is also a private sitting area to the other side of the property which is for the occupants of Starfish Cottage only. The property benefits from off street parking for 1 car.
The beautiful beach is just 200 feet away at the end of the quiet road. Numerous restaurants are also within easy walking distance and the free trolley bus is the perfect way to travel if you want to explore further without having to use a car.

Stayed here in March 2026. House was absolutely beautiful and clean! Just a short walk to the beach with 2 small kids was super convenient. We also used the beach wagon, chair, and sand toys which was great! The house had a heated outdoor shower, great for washing sandy toes and bodies off before heading inside. We used the heated pool on the property as well. Super private and cozy. The house was very close to all the local shops and restaurants. The north part of the island was the place to be, and the beach close by was never crowded. Wonderful stay and would love to stay again!

The Starfish Cottage is the perfect location, cozy and well stocked. We loved being able to roll out of bed and on to the beach with ease. The pool was especially a highlight for our family. We would welcome the opportunity to stay here again when we visit family.

Needs new couches, uncomfortable and stained. Needs new pillows on beds, also uncomfortable. Master bedroom needs a headboard.
Pool and location amazing!! I love where this cottage is and the pool area is so quaint and welcoming. Beach down the road is paradise.
