The windows face south (living room), west (kitchen) and north (bathroom). The separate entrance is on the north side, there is also the garden for shared use. There is seating on the river under the trees or in the garden on the west side, where you can sit in the sun when it shines.

There are two bakeries within walking distance, the nearest discounter is in Otterndorf or Bad Bederkesa (8 or 12 km).
