Typical recently renovated tuscan farmhouse with large private garden that looks out over the valley as it gently descends towards the Etruscan Coast. Situated about 500 m from the old town centre of Roccastrada, LaFornace lies ina quiet spot with a nice view. Furnished with warm and modern pieces, the house is ideal for a quiet and pleasant holiday. Outside, guests may enjoy the use of the private 5x10 m swimming-pool.The medieval town of Roccastrada has all the main types of shops and close by you will find places to try typical Maremma cooking or buy local products. The Chianti area is approx 50 km away, many characteristic and traditional towns in the area merit a visit. Rustic country house "La Fornace", built in 1816. 500 m from the centre of Roccastrada, on top of a hill. Private: garden 800 m2 (fenced), swimming pool fenced (5 x 10 m, depth 140 cm, seasonal availability: 06.May. - 30.Oct.). Outdoor shower, arbour, garden furniture, barbecue. In the house: with TV, internet access, sun terrace, central heating system. Room cleaning on request (extra). 400 m long motor access to the house (via unmade road). Parking at the house. Die Bilder versprechen nicht zu viel. Beim Gebäude handelt es sich am eine alte Ziegelbrennerei aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, das liebevoll zum kleinen Wohnhaus umgebaut wurde. Alles ist in sehr gepflegtem Zustand. Sowohl der riesige Garten, als auch der Pool sind komplett eingezäunt. Ideal mit kleinen Kindern. Der Ausblick über die Maremma ist Sagenhaft. Kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren eine Gruppe mit zwei jungen Paaren und sind mit dem Auto angereist. In Roccastrada hat uns die Hausbesitzern herzlich empfangen und ist zur Unterkunft vorgefahren. Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist ein schmaler Schotterweg. Wir sind mit einem Mittelklassewagen gerade durchgekommen. Dafür wird die Fahrt mit einem herrlichen Ausblick über Maremma belohnt und einem Außenbereich der seines gleichen sucht! Der Pool war riesig und sauber. Die Besitzerin war sehr hilfsbereit. Nachts Hundegebell.
