Very quiet, a meditative experience - surrounded by beautiful foliage, and really close to the National Park (15min walking distance). Kitchen was well equipped. Place was spotless and tidy.
The main bed felt slightly sunken. But it could just have been my bad back. Aging issues.

De mooie locatie van "De Bonte Specht", midden in het bos. Je kan zo naar de hei wandelen. (Natuurgebied De Zanding.) Het huisje ligt ook vlakbij het Nationaal Park De Hoge Veluwe en het prachtige natuurgebied Planken Wambuis. Voor gravel- en gewone fietsers is de prachtige omgeving een waar fietsparadijs. Vanuit "De Bonte Specht" ben je o.a.ook snel op de Ginkelse en Renkumer heide, en in Radio Kootwijk/Kootwijkerzand. We komen heel graag een keer terug naar "De Bonte Specht!"
Niets. Het huisje is wat gedateerd en donker, maar voor ons was dat geen enkel probleem. Alleen maar nostalgie. De verwarming werkt goed en de warmwater voorziening in de keuken en de douche is ook prima!

Nice location amongst the trees and near all facilities.
Slight moisture problem during rainy days. House gets a little clammy.

We hebben een fantastische week gehad in een prachtige omgeving. De bungalow heeft alles dat je nodig hebt. We zijn vooral blij dat onze 3 labradors mee mochten!
