About this cottage rental
30 DAY MINIMUM. If you and your family enjoy relaxing by the fire next to the water watching the fish jumping, the eagles soaring and wonderful sunsets this is the place for you. You can enjoy fishing from the dock or one of the boats for some of the ponds many fish. Lovejoy pond is 379 acres and has 4.2 miles of shoreline for fishing and exploring.
We allow a maximum of two dogs with a fee of $10 per night per dog. If the pet fees are not paid up front we will charge $100 penalty on top of the Pet fee.
In 1987 my mother and father bought this property and started building the cottage with help from his brother. Over the years the cottage has not been used much until we finished the interior of the cottage in recent years. Now that the cottage is finished we really enjoy using it with family and friends but it still doesn't get used much so we will be renting it out so other families can enjoy it.
We have everything you and your family will need for a wonderful time inside and out.
The cottage sits 45 feet from the water and has 630 square feet of living space with a deck, picnic table, fire ring, dock and 2 kayaks. As the weather warms up the pond gets algae blooms and weeds start growing making swimming less desirable but we do have another cottage on a beautiful lake in Oakland which is East pond which is the start of the Belgrade lake chain the property ID number is 2147380.
The interior is set up with a table for 4, many different comfortable chairs, tv, dvd player, books and games, kitchen, bathroom with a shower, toilet and a sink. Two bed rooms are located upstairs. The waterfront side bedroom has a queen sized bed and the pass thru bedroom has a full/twin bunk bed.
Coastal Maine has many things to offer within a short distance from Albion Maine.

Lake St. George State Park fresh water beach 16 miles

The peacefulness and beauty of this location can't be overstated. Even though it was mostly too cold for us to go out on the dock, the view from inside was stunning! It had everything we needed for a comfortable looking weekend trip. I hope we get a chance to stay here again!
