About this apartment rental
Whether family vacation, golf vacation, city vacation or beach vacation everyone feels comfortable here. If you are looking for a quiet apartment with sandy beaches, sights, culture, nature, golf courses and beautiful seaside resorts nearby; then this is the ideal holiday apartment for you.
The penthouse is located on the roof of the three-story complex with pools and impresses with its bright and luxurious furnishings with marble floors in all rooms and the 2 fully equipped bathrooms, air conditioning, WiFi, camera-monitored entrance area, alarm secured, underground parking, elevator, etc.
The elevator takes you from your underground parking space directly to the front door of your penthouse.
Through a double door you reach the living / dining area on the left side. There you will find a large, white leather couch, hi-fi system and a 46 inch flat screen TV.
The dining area with Italian designer furniture offers space for 6 people.
Via the two large sliding glass doors, you enter the highlight of the apartment ... the fantastic and gigantic roof terrace with 200 sqm with a breathtaking panoramic view of the golf course, the sea and the mountains of the Sierra Nevada.
Enjoy the view on the spacious lounge furniture or sunbathe on the sun loungers or the large sun bed.
Here you also have the opportunity to start the day with breakfast in the outdoor dining area with space for 6 people and a unique view.
The roof terrace surrounds the penthouse in a U-shape. On the back side with a wonderful view of the mountains and the hinterland, you will find a large gas grill for a cozy barbecue in the evening. On this terrace side you can still enjoy the last rays of the day.
You also have the opportunity to do sports with the cross trainer on the roof terrace.
The fully equipped kitchen (ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, etc.) also has its own access to the terrace. From here you not only have a great view outside, but also over the counter into the living room.
In the right part of the building are the two bright guest rooms, each with 2 single beds. Both have a view of the terrace and the sea.
The associated bathroom is located directly on the opposite side of the corridor. This is kept in beautiful, light marble.
In the rear area is the master bedroom with floor-to-ceiling windows and access to the terrace.
In a king-size bed you will gain strength for the next day. In addition to a built-in closet, which is located in both bedrooms, there is also a walk-in dressing area.
Without detours, you can go directly into a large daylight en-suite bathroom, which is equipped with a double sink and also with light marble
If you feel like a relaxing day without a program or you would like to start with a swim in the pool; No problem .... The complex has a beautifully landscaped garden with 5 large communal swimming pools, children's pool, sun loungers and showers.

This penthouse is superb. It is spacious and very well-equipped. The inside and outside furniture is very comfortable. The terrace is exceptionally large, and has beautiful sea and Mountain View’s, and also overlooks Calanova golf course. We would love to return in the future.

This was our third stay at this apartment. It is a fantastic place. The outside terrace is huge with stunning views to the sea, mountains and over the golf course. We spend a lot of time outside as the terrace is huge The BBQ is a great size for several people as well. The kitchen has lots of crockery.The apartment is a 3 miles walk downhill to the beach which takes approximately an hour so a car is required, however taxis are not expensive, approx 10 each way into La Cala. Mario provided us with additional information for the area when we stayed first time. Check in process very easy and Sean and Monica are available for any issues.We consider this apartment, our home from home in La Cala.

The apartment was well appointed and comfortable. The panoramic views from the terrace was amazing!
The restaurant at the golf club was lovely. The restaurant recommendation from the agent was really helpful.
A few improvements would have made the stay even better:
1. a microwave would be handy
2. the lighting outside is minimal and not adequate for eating on the terrace at night.
3. provide a list of useful items to bring along (e.g. food items and cleaning and bin bags- for example there was only 2 dishwasher tablets- there was no point buying a full box for our stay, so we had to wash up mostly.
4. the air conditioning did not cool the apartment as well as it could.
5. the pool bar at the swimming pool was closed the entire time- there was no schedule published. That would have been a lovely addition to the stay.

First, Mario (the owner) was wonderful pre-trip, very responsive from the time I inquired about the property up to the time of our arrival. He provided good advice about car rentals, places to go, places to eat, dress code, etc. I appreciated this all very much.Second, their property manager, Sean, was equally pleasant and helpful upon our arrival and our departure.Third, the property is very nice. Lots of room for my family of 4 (including 2 teenagers) and could easily support 6. The apartment is well furnished with all the modern amenities. There is even a small washing machine in the kitchen and you can dry your clothes quickly on the deck. The views are incredible! The pictures on the website are accurate - the reality is even better. The deck is massive and there is a remote-control operated awning for those hot Spain days. The pool was a little cool for an early June evening but perfect during the day. You have the security of a parking garage and an alarm system for the apartment.We ate at the golf club a couple of times - one dinner and one breakfast. The food was fantastic and the staff was wonderful.Fourth, the location is perfectly situated on the Costa del Sol. The small town of La Cala de Mijas is a nice size compared to the sprawling Marbella or Fuengirola with plenty of places to eat and shop. We especially enjoyed El Olivo one evening. It's a great central location to explore much of Andalucia, at least the Cadiz, Malaga, and Grenada provinces. You can reach many wonderful locations in 1-2 hours if you're inclined to explore the area. The road system is easily navigated and in better shape than much of the United States roadways.We aren't big golfers, but the Casanova golf course looked like it would be a fun, challenging course to play - if we'd had a few more days, we'd probably have played a round. The views alone would have been worth it!Overall, this was a great experience all around and we highly recommend this property.- from Colorado in the United States
