Cheap, good location, laundry, filtered water, fast internet, master suite has big bathroom, top floor has big porch. Best rooms are probably the 2nd floor small rooms due to noise traveling between the 2 large rooms.

Half the people who stay here act like they rented the whole house. Partying downstairs at 4am. I stayed here for 45 days under different reservations and saw a lot of people come and go. Literally half of them treat it like they rented the whole place rather than a single room. And the owners arent on site, and the people you talk to arent even the owners, just a hands off management company. Its a cheap and nice place to stay until another party group comes and no one told them to behave beforehand.

Accommodation is in a residential area, and is far from the beach and restaurants. Ideal for those traveling by car not for foreign tourists who depend on public transport. Speaking of which, the bus from George Town leaves you right in the center, but to get to this accommodation it will be a 20-minute walk uphill in the heat. The room we rented didn't seem clear when it came to the shared bathroom, and when we arrived we discovered it was actually like an American suite - 1 bathroom in the middle of two bedrooms. There is a shared kitchen that is old but large, the problem was that when I was there there was no gas for cooking, after request, on the last day the owner put on the gas. A washing machine is available and works. If you want to stay here, be aware that there are no supermarkets nearby.

The location is really bad for those who don't have a car.

The bed & pillow were very uncomfortable. There’s 2 street lights which beam through the window all night long making it impossible to sleep. Not the property’s issue. But Batu Ferringhi its self is not great at all. Nothing to do there. The beach is horrible. If you’re a coffee lover … Starbucks will have to do 😂 In my opinion stay in George Town area!!
