About this house rental
Sisters in the Sand is a 3 bedroom, 1 bath beach cottage and is a great choice for family vacations. Located just a short stroll from the beach, shops, and restaurants, and the Tybee Pier. You will enjoy the convenient South end location while still offering a unique cottage setting!
There is a furnished screened porch on the front of the home which offers space to relax and enjoy the beautiful island weather. Inside on the ground level, you will find a living area with a flat-screen TV, a dining area with a table seating 4, along with a nicely updated kitchen, full bath, and washer/dryer. The first-floor bedroom has a Queen bed, double sleeper sofa, and a flat-screen TV. The large fenced backyard includes an enclosed outdoor shower, furnished deck, and a gas grill for cookouts.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one with a Queen bed which offers a TV and one with 2 Twins. There is also a small seating area with an additional TV. There is access to the relaxing, uncovered sun deck as well. Here you can enjoy the sunshine and the Tybee air! Relax and unwind and enjoy the cool breezes and warm sunshine.
There is off-street parking for 2 vehicles.

My complaints- my family and i traveled by plane and we arrived at 10 instead of our later time of 12 because our flights changed and no one was replying to us regarding if we could possibly arrive at the property an hour earlier because our arrival time was 4pm for the property. no communication besides an automated message reminding us that our arrival time for the property was 4. We decided to wait in the porch when we arrived at 3 and just wait but someone showed up at the same time to clean and inspect the cottage. I thought this was weird because you would assume that they would inspect the property at least a day before and not just a whole hour but whatever. Another complaint is that since we flew, of course we didn’t bring any beach chairs, etc so we called to see if they offer any on the property or at their office and they claimed that they didn’t and that other people complained about the same issues. This is so stupid in my opinion because if others complained… maybe you would do something about that. Other bits is just finding shoe prints on my bedroom wall and just dirty walls and some blood stains on the blankets. There was also black mold on the shower head and the toilet seat felt broken. I took pictures of all of these but we were highly disappointed with this and will not be staying with sisters in the sand again.
