In the historic hamlet of Casoli, time stands still and the atmosphere among the inhabitants is that of a large family. In the alleys, decorated with representative frescoes of the area, you can hear the voices of housewives and smell the aromas of typical dishes. Here the pasta is still rolled by hand. Casoli is surrounded by the mountains of the Apennines, crossed by the stream Lima and extends on terraces, so the houses are mostly accessible by stairs. From Casoli you can go on nature walks or trekking along the Apennines, which connect Tuscany with the Emilia Romagna region and are popular with hikers and nature lovers. The beaches of Lido di Camaiore are only 15 km away, so you can also spend beautiful bathing days by the sea and then return to Casoli in the evening to enjoy the tranquility of this traditional vacation home, called Elisena. Older people could have problems with luggage - car has to be parked far (about 50m) and higher then house (about 50 steps).

Das Haus, die Einrichtung und das Ambiente passen hervorragend zur Gegend. Auf der Terrasse frühstücken und Ausblick genießen, super!!! Etwas ältere Töpfe und Pfannen in der Küche aber daraus lassen sich auch gute Gerichte kochen. In der Beschreibung steht Internet, LAN-Anschluss war gemeint!!! Zum Glück an der Ecke vorm Haus wird offenes WLAN angeboten. Dafür Quellwasser umsonst und gaaanz lecker. Hier findet man Ruhe und schnuppert Toskana - Luft und Flair!! Wir kommen bestimmt nochmal hierher.
