About this house rental
Do you like the charm of a half-timbered house and at the same time value comfort? Our chestnut house combines both under one roof! The house, built in 1901, has been lovingly renovated, furnished and offers plenty of space for 6-7 self-caterers on 160 sqm. It is located in the center of town on the R5 cycle route. The baker's wagon offers Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings the opportunity to buy fresh bread, bread, a newspaper, etc., and this can result in a chat with the neighborhood. Purchases for daily needs can be made in Cornberg or Sontra can be done. For the little holiday guests, Rockensüß offers a lovingly designed and well-kept playground about 400 m away from the holiday home.

A great family house for our autumn vacation. The house had nice fireplace, well equipped kitchen, fine beds and of course the pool table. In less than an hour drives are a lot of nice walks (Kinderweg Solztal

Actually this was our second choice, but man, was I wrong. Loved it, loved it, loved it(also the dogs did). We will be back and then for the full 3 weeks, at least, if Edith will have us :).
At last, certainly not at least, Edith, what a host. Thanks for everything.

Das großzügige, gepflegte Haus möchte ich, was Zustand und Ausstattung angehen fast schon als luxuriös bezeichnen. Es war alles vorhanden, was man in Küche und Bad benötigt. Dazu hatten wir einen sehr herzlichen Kontakt zur Gastgeberin! Der Standort im kleine Örtchen Rockensüß ermöglichte uns Touren in wunderschönen hessischen Fachwerkstädtchen, Wanderungen in der Umgebung sowie einen Abstecher ins südliche Niedersachsen! Super!!!
