Rügen's youngest seaside resort invites you

Welcome to our residence Galeriea in the state-approved seaside resort Altefähr, approx. 800 m to the bathing beach and to the sailing and surfing school (shortest bathing beach approx. 300 m) There are small cliffs, natural beaches and sandy bays for sunbathing and swimming. The attraction with games and sports is just for almost 2 million EUR modernized new sandy beach, the only one on the island of Rügen with southern exposure (in the high season the Bader DLRG are monitored so that nothing happens while bathing). You can also rent and fish boats in the harbor. Our place is definitely on one of the most beautiful sailing and fishing areas in Germany. Altefähr offers a pretty beach promenade (and also a wooden beach promenade directly past the water), several good restaurants and a picturesque view of the silhouette of Stralsund. You can rent beach chairs in the beach house. Volleyball court and children's playground on the beach, historic houses and bike paths past beaches and fields are some more highlights. Furthermore, the old fishing and ferry destination has excellent transport links (water and land) for all kinds of excursions.


Residenz Galeriea is an extension to our "old smithy". Here is a living room, a fitted kitchen, a bathroom with shower and the two bedrooms are on a second level (= gallery level):
A double bed in the first bedroom and in a separate room 2 single beds (extra bed for a 5th Pers. possible). The apartment has been completely modernized, so that in addition to a new kitchen, new furniture, specially made built-in wardrobe, etc., a new insulating roof has now also created a spacious room on the gallery level. Our residence Galeriea is a cozy, rustic domicile with a beautiful beamed ceiling and can be heated with a fireplace even in the cold season.

Important note: In "high season 1" from the beginning of July to the beginning of September, the day of departure must be a Saturday (otherwise we cannot confirm your booking). In the other seasons, every weekday can be the day of departure. For certain seasons there is a minimum stay of 3 to 7 nights in "high season 1".
