About this house rental
If you are looking for peace, tranquility, beautiful views in an unspoiled landscape with a rich historical background, look no further! A stay in our houses, nestling in the hills above Londa, a pretty old village about 30km from Florence, will offer you a memorable experience.
Our property for two, La Capannina is an ancient barn which was restored maintaining the original features , but adding all the comforts of today s daily life. It s on two floors. Downstairs the dining living area with cooking corner and the bathroom . Upstairs a very large bedroom with fireplace. The two main rooms are connected by a staircase and each of them has an exit to the garden which is on two levels providing shady and sunny areas all day long. A lovely patio before the kitchen accommodates chairs and table to have meals outside and deck chairs to relax . The upper level of the garden has sunbeds and table and chairs for breakfast in front of the bedroom . XIX century wooden pieces of furniture typical of the area create an authentic cosy atmosphere. The pool (14m x 7m) set in lovely extensive ground is just twenty meters away and is shared with other two properties.
The location is ideal to enjoy a peaceful Holiday away fro it all but it s also very suitable for daytrips to the most important Tuscan towns and cities , like Florence , Lucca, Pisa , Siena and Arezzo. La Capannina belongs to a farming estate where organic wine and extra- verin olive oil are produced. Tours to the family oil mill and vineyards are regularly organized in the high season. You need a car to get to the property.

Maria Luisa ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin! Sie hat uns einen sehr netten Empfang bereitet und stets auf Fragen sehr schnell geantwortet und tolle Tips gegeben!
Das Haus hat alles, was man braucht! Für uns war es optimal! Die Idylle ist sehr entspannend. Das Haus liegt etwas abgelegen und die Serpentinenstraße zieht sich von Londa etwas! Das Grundstück ist eingezäunt, was optimal für unsere Hunde war! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sicher wieder!

Eigentlich war es wunderschön - bis wir den erste Nacht verstanden haben warum es ein Moskito-Netz beim Bett gab: fliegen und Käfer haben immer wieder den Weg ins Häuschen zu finden. Für uns als Stadtmenschen ein bisschen viel - wir sind deswegen früher abgereist. Außerdem bellen die Hunden in der Gegend bis tief in der Nacht - unsere Hund wollte dann gerne mitreden - sprich: Baby wach. Und so ging das für uns nicht mehr, nach drei Nächten sind wir abgereist. Wir würden es jedes Pärchen Ohne Kind und Ohne Hund / Haustier trotzdem empfehlen - absolute Ruhe und Natur kann sehr schön sein!
