About this villa rental
4 bedroom villa on approximately 127 m2, two living rooms, kitchen, 3 bathrooms, three terraces on a wooded plot of 3,500 m2 900 m from the beach of Heraclea in Gigaro. Calm and peaceful environment.
Lou Grilloun - le crillon - is a spacious house from the 60s built in Provencal style, in the valley of an old vineyard. From the street, the house is barely visible, hidden by cypres, poplars and an impressive eucalyptus. Those who are looking for a luxury villa will be able to stop reading, this is not the case. All the floors are tiled, the walls with rough plaster are painted white, the roof tiles visible from below. The architect's idea was to create an interior and exterior connecting space: almost every room has an exterior door. Some people will not like going outside every time they leave a room. The favorite room is the tower room, which benefits from an outdoor terrace half a level above the general level and with a beautiful view. The largest terrace is located in front of the main living room, where there is an outdoor fireplace, among other things for the Barbecue.
The furniture is not up to date, it's a mix of the 60s and 80s. Since we spend most of the time outside, we don't mind. The kitchen is modern and well equipped.
The main advantages are the distance from the beach (900 m) and the calm environment. Rare on the French Riviera. By a quiet road and passing through the vineyards, you reach the beach in less than 10 minutes. The beach is relatively small and simple, with no restaurant or other. The more populated beach is towards Gigaro, but still, nothing to do with the typical beaches of the French Riviera in terms of number of people, but prettier still.
The land is also kept in a simple state. Don't expect a manicured garden. For children, it is a great place to play.

- Bedroom 3 with two single beds which can be combined. Bedroom 3 is accessible by an exterior door only.
