Star View Garden

The family are brilliant….so helpful and kind.

Too close to a busy road. Other than that everything was perfect.

We stayed in a one-bedroom bungalow with its own bathroom, a fridge with water, and a kettle. Everything clean. There's a place to sit in front of each of the bungalows and there's a main sitting area lit by string lights, where you can order some tasty food for a good price. The place is surrounded by nature, and the "star view" in the name isn't lying either, you can get a good view of the night sky if you take a short walk away from the streetlights. It's a nice place, and the owners are really lovely. On our first night they gave us some fruit, every morning we got some instant coffee and a chocolate drink, and we were leaving with a bag full of bananas! You are in nature, so expect mosquitoes and lizards, but that's solvable with a good bug repellent and shutting the door properly. It is a bit remote, so a car or a bike is a must. There are parking spots in the front.

It's close to the road, so there's noise from the traffic. It's more quiet in the back of the bungalows.

The location was nice and quiet. The staff were fantastic and went well out of their way to help. It is worth knowing that Grab/Bolt don’t work and so you have to rely on the local buses/taxis, we asked the staff and they were able to help each time. The bus goes past Star View Garden on the road both ways and it’s good value for money. The food in the evening was really good and amazing value. You are 15 minutes from the Hellfire Museum, 10 minutes from Sai Yok Noi and 15 min from Nam Tok. The facilities were basic but pleasant, we were very happy with our stay. Note for owners: we would have happily paid for breakfast on a menu and people would pay for you to run a shuttle service to Sai Yok Noi and Hellfire. The staff were exceptional.

There was not hot water, the air conditioner was bad, the matress was too strong. and the wors, the humidity of the room. I woke up wet, disgusting. I ask for a blanked because was just one little and was not enough for both of us. The boss wanted to charge us for that !! 😵‍💫😵‍💫 CRAZY, anyways, the childs super cool!!
