2 Bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in a chalet setting. Located 600 metres away from the Roc d'Orsay ski lift with ski in-out possibilities. Beautifully furnished bright and spacious. Perfect for two families enjoying a ski holiday or exploring the region in summer.

Sleeps 6 comfortably. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite). 2nd bedroom has foldaway bunk beds. Open plan kitchen, dining, living areas. Lounge with TV, DVD and music system. Great views over the Rhone Valley and the French Alps. Wrap around balcony with comfortable seating area. Parking available on a first come first serve basis. Central heating, cable TV, fire with woodstore. Apartment is fully equipped with laundry facilities and wifi. Equipped for families with young children (travel cot, high chair etc).

Ideal for both winter and summer rental. With 225km of ski runs, ski schools, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing and a snow garden for children to learn to ski. There are 300km of hiking paths and 120km of mountain bike trails. Also a high altitude 18 hole Golf course at 1600m.

Continues to be a fantastic apartment for both relaxing & enjoying the mountains and all Villars has to offer as well as a tranquil location for working from home whilst rest of family are enjoying themselves. Super easy to get keys, fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, power showers, quick WiFi, smart tv for whatever sub services you want to watch and easy downhill (15mins at a lazy pace) walk to town (but tougher uphill but not really demanding) or shorter to the gondola.

We had a fantastic stay at Carolyn’s apartment. The apartment was great and a home away from home. Easy to get everywhere in Villars on foot and lots to do. Carolyn was really helpful. Will look forward to staying again.

Wonderful property, perfect for 10-day working holiday and would easily have stayed longer. Exceptionally well-equipped kitchen which, despite looking small, packed everything in for full catering. Two large bedrooms with comfy mattresses and enough storage for clothes and other kit. Lounge comfortably accommodated us and dog with internet-enabled TV and Sonos for entertainment. Wifi worked perfectly, handling Zoom and Teams calls at the same time, and no issues streaming content (Strong 4G signal as well if you want a mobile broadband back-up). Two bathrooms were great also with decent power/pressure in both showers. Balcony has a stunning view through valley to French Alps and was bathed in sunshine, making a great office for my stay. Dropped-off luggage from car right next to chalet with parking a few metres away so perfectly practical. Apartment is well-located in lower area of La Residence (15mins downhill to shops, maybe 25mins back up but we're out of practice!) set in beautifully maintained chalets and mature trees/woodland with the sound of the stream nearby to keep us company. Hope to be back to test it out in Winter.

We had a wonderful stay in Carolyn’s Villars apartment. It is very comfortably furnished, with lots of thoughtful extras - throw blankets, extra linens, games. The kitchen is compact but has everything you need to make all your meals there. Laundry is convenient (located in basement) but save your cinquante centimes as you will need a handful to use the machines. The downstairs room is large and the fold-down extra beds were a big hit with our teenager. The creek running outside makes for a very pleasant environment, and the views are lovely. It’s a short walk from the apartment to and from the main part of town, with many shops and delicious restaurants. We will absolutely stay here again!

The location was perfect if you are looking for quite place and a relaxing stay. I enjoyed the quite mornings with a nice sound of the creek next to the amenities while viewing the white mountains from the balcony. We visited Christmas market in Montreux, which was unique. The view of the lake during sunset was breathtaking. Strongly recommended. A lot more restaurants and shops. You can take the train/bus if you really want to sit back relax and enjoy the view. The train station is walking distance. However, there is parking in front of the station for those can't manage walking up-hill. The property was well-maintained, and well organized. It was well-equipped for families with children. Very kid-friendly. Good but not great Internet connection, we had minor issues streaming movies from iTunes, but it worked really well overall. The cable TV lineup was outstanding! Customer services were exceptional! Carolyn was very flexible and responded to emails promptly. Francois from Villars Chalet was very helpful, and kind. We enjoyed the "El Gringo" pizza place. There are also small grocery stores nearby. Once you figure out the trains, they are a terrific way to get up to the ski area and down to the Ollón Valley and Montreux! They are not cheap, though! We have already recommended this property to our friends and relatives and definitely, would like to come back and enjoy it when there is more snow.

Die Ferienwohnung ist super ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich. Die Filmbibliothek würde für Wochen an schlechtem Wetter ausreichen. Die Küche ist klein, aber topp. Selbst für den Hund gab es alles Mögliche. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder :-)

Wunderschöne Bergsicht, grosszügiger Balkon. Sehr ruhige Umgebung und prima Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete und gut ausgerüstete Wohnung (tolle Küche, gemütliche Schlafzimmer, WLAN, SmartTV mit vielen DVDs,...). Gerne wieder!

Vor der Anreise gab es Probleme mit der Kommunikation. Es ist nicht klar, wer die Infos weitergibt. Wir erhielten durch FEWO andere Infos als durch die Besitzerin. So meldeten wir uns bei der Agentur, die aber nicht informiert war. Am Ende hat alles geklappt und der Aufenthalt war super. Die Lage ideal für Ausflüge und Wanderungen.

Wir waren zutiefst von dieser wunderschönen und liebevoll eingerichteten Wohnung beeindruckt. Hier einige Details: Ein großzügiger umlaufender Balkon mit einem kleinen Esstisch und einer Lounge-Garnitur von wo aus man einen wunderbaren Blick in die Berge genießen konnte! Es gibt zwei schöne Schlafzimmer mit modernen Badezimmern auf zwei Etagen. Die Küche ist mit einem 4-Platten-Induktionsherd, Backofen, Kühlschrank, Spülmaschine, Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine und umfangreichen Equipment ausgestattet. Die Wohnung liegt auf 1350 m Höhe in absolut ruhiger Umgebung, jedoch sehr gut mit dem Auto aus Richtung Aigle erreichbar. So hatten wir auch im Hochsommer angenehm kühle Nächte für erholsamen Schlaf. Ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Mountainbike-Touren. Den Genfer See (Villeneuve) erreicht man mit dem Auto in 30 Minuten zum Baden! Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt und würden gerne wieder kommen! Der Kontakt mit Carolyn war hervorragend!

El apartamento estaba en plena naturaleza, rodeado de vegetación, cogimos fresas silvestres y frambuesas en los alrededores. Dentro del apartamento nos sentimos como en nuestra propia casa. Éramos un grupo de 4 personas adultas. Había una cama de matrimonio en una habitación en la parte baja del apartamento con vistas al Montblanc nevado aunque era el mes de agosto. En la parte alta del apartamento estaba la cocina, la sala de estar, otra habitación con dos camas y un cuarto de baño, todo muy acogedor. Teníamos una pequeña terraza donde salíamos a fumar ya que la dueña nos hizo saber que no se podía fumar dentro. El apartamento tenia todo lo que se puede necesitar, incluso una lavadora y una secadora. El acceso fue fácil, recogimos las llaves en el pueblo (Villars sur Ollon) nos dieron mapas con indicaciones para llegar y todo marchó bien. A 5 minutos a pie del apartamento hay una estación de telecabinas con la que se puede subir al “Roc d’Orsay, y desde allí hacer una buena caminata. En fin unas vacaciones estupendas y unas temperaturas de ensueño, dormimos algún día con la calefacción encendida en pleno agosto, todo un lujo.

La estancia en el apartamento de Carolyn fue muy agradable, nos sentimos como en nuestra propia casa. Loa alrededores son fantasticos. Se puede tomar la telecabina para subir al Roc d'Orsay a 5 minutos andando desde el apartamento, tambien se pueden dar paseos muy bonitos por toda la urbanización. Aunque cuando llegamos ya estabamos un poco cansados del viaje no fue dificil encontrar el sitio porque en la agencia en Villars nos atendieron realmente bien, nos explicaron como llegar al apartamento y nos dieron mapas con el camino muy bien definido. El apartamento muy acogedor, hacia un poco de frio y teniamos calefaccion. Los baños bien, la cocina tambien, hay utensilios de cocina: placa para cocinar, horno, tostadora, la nevera un poco pequeña pero bien. La sala de estar y comedor realmente fantastica. la habitacion de matrimonio con unas vistas espectaculares. Para llegar al apartamento hay una carretera de montaña bastante buena, esta a 10/12 km de la autopista así que desde allí se puede ir con facilidad a qualquier sitio. Hay un montón de lugares maravillosos para visitar en un radio de unos 50 km. No perderse la visita al castillo de Chillon tan solo a unos 15 km, espectacular, el castillo esta sobre una roca dentro del lago Leman, ademas hay una bodega en el castillo. La comunicacion con la propietaria a traves de Homelidays perfecta aunque en inglés. en fin la experiencia realmente maravillosa. Angel Sanz
