Exclusive apartment with beautiful sea views in Nerja / Ladera del Mar

The view is amazing, kitchen well appointed, 2 bathrooms come in handy, all clean. The grounds are really well maintained and the flowers are wonderful.For the last weeks of April we enjoyed fully our privacy, with birds and occasional cats as only neighbours, but starting in May more people came, and, as in any place, some are more respectful of lower levels neighbours, some are less. Depends on luck, we had both types. In all, we had a wonderful vacation.

Compleet ingericht appartement. Geweldig uitzicht. Goed 2 persoonsbed. Heerlijk schoon. Eigenaren erg behulpzaam. Je voelt je direct thuis. Ook het plaatselijke aanspreekpunt is .vriendelijk in contact. Door de ligging wel auto nodig. Ook goed kunnen lopen, er zijn veel trappen. Persoonlijk miste ik wat schoonmaakmiddelen omdat er in 14 dagen niet werd schoongemaakt. Toilet dan kunnen opfrissen is wel zo hygiënisch. Zelf bed verschonen kan gelukkig. De wasmachine is dan ook echt een uitkomst. Andalusië is prachtig en voor ieder wat wils.

Eine sehr gemütliche Wohnung hat unseren Aufenthalt in Nerja perfekt gemacht. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt und den schönen Blick von der Terrasse genossen. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr herzlich und unkompliziert.

Google Maps could not locate the address given and the instructions provided were worthless. (Afterwards we discovered - on our own - that it would have been better to plug precisely “Urbanizacion Ladera del Mar” into the GPS. “Calle Pasillo Ladera Andaluz No.3” is of no help with GPS (that information is what you need to find the set of step once you’re in the complex) and “Casa Mila” is simply what the owners named their home. It means nothing to GPS or to the locals. Since the address given left us confused, we phoned the local contact included with the instructions. However, despite what our hosts had written, this person only speaks Spanish. Thanks to our translating app, we got help from random local residents and realized we were on the wrong side of town. We needed to be nearer the marina. We drove into the Ladera Del Mar Apartments but missed the apartment for two reasons: 1st, the instructions said to look for two parking lots. (There are no parking lots. Rather, there is parking on both sides of a narrow road.); 2nd, the apartment was 65 steps up the hill from the road. (There was NO mention of any steps. My wife figured out where the apartment was - no thanks to the directions provided.) All of this could have been rectified with better instructions, communication, and an English speaking contact. Also, at another of our condo stays we will be meeting someone at a restaurant who will escort us to the location. This should have been provided here and all would have been well. After a very frustrating nightmare of finding the apartment we were grateful that it was quite lovely, neat and clean. The view from the terrace is worth every one of the 65 steps. The AC worked perfectly as did the dishwasher. The furnishings are comfortable and had all the essential flatware, dishes and pans. Just a few more concerns: 1-The clothes washer has instructions taped onto the back of the bathroom door but were in German. 2-There is no clothes dryer. 3-The Television has three remotes with no instructions and when we managed to turn it on, all but two channels were in German. 4-This place is not in town. To go to a restaurant or store or anywhere you need to drive and 5-the parking is not ideal.
