Spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom mountain chalet within walking distance of the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort.
The open floor plan brings everyone together with a large entertaining room that features a 20 foot cathedral ceiling, a fully-equipped kitchen, two outdoor decks, and wood-burning fireplace. Walls of windows provide stunning ridge line views and plenty of natural sunlight.
The home includes a large master bedroom suite with a queen-sized bed and private bathroom with a jet spa bath and walk-in shower. A second spacious bedroom includes a queen-bed and large closet. The third bedroom is perfect for kids, with a bunk bed and plenty of space for them to play.
A secluded backyard with towering pines backs up to a greenbelt. The decks offer a perfect place to relax, watch the children play, grill burgers, or enjoy the babbling of Alder Creek while you stargaze.
A large two-car garage will keep your vehicles warm and snow-free. The driveway can accomodate additional cars.
Excellent Truckee location! The house is right down the street from the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort and only 10 minutes from Donner Lake! Tahoe Donner is a short 20 minute drive to several of the nation's top ski areas: Palisades, Alpine Meadows, Northstar, and Sugarbowl.
Tahoe Donner's Lodge restaurant and Pizza on the Hill offer fantastic dining options. Historic downtown Truckee is only minutes away and has numerous dinner, nightlife and shopping destinations.
Enjoy access to the Tahoe Donner community amenities for a daily use fee.. The Trout Creek Rec Center has a recreational pool, a lap pool, hot tubs, steam room, and fitness center. In warm months, the Donner Lake Beach Club Marina, with its jaw-dropping mountain lake views, offers water sport equipment rentals and a great beach for swimming, sunning, and building sandcastles. The cabin was perfect for our small group, well stocked and great communication with the owner… We had a huge storm the day we arrived and we’re very happy to see the snow plow. Showed up every morning to clear the driveway… What a luxury! Really enjoyed the stay. Thanks so much!!

This cabin was perfect for our family of four with two teenagers. Everyone had their own space to hang out. Being right down the street from the downhill ski resort was very convenient. We skied in the morning and were able to walk home in the afternoon,have lunch, then go back and ski some more. This was a great benefit as the indoor dining at the resort was closed for the season. Elizabeth, our host was very responsive and accommodating.The Tahoe Donner area is perfect; it is away from the hustle and bustle of Lake Tahoe but very close to downtown Truckee.
