You have a lawn with access to water and direct access to a bike path available. Opposite the campsite you can shop in the kiosk or rent canoes, bicycles and boats for your day trips.

Because every year in summer (2016: 29. - 31. 07.), the banks of the Schlei, once the route daring northern men, the largest rebuilt Viking settlement of Schleswig.
Summer fun for adults and children on the Königswiese in front of Haihabu
Haithabu was once in northern Europe the most important settlement of the Vikings on their voyages to Europe. Now, once a year, the former garden show grounds become a three-day rejuvenated Viking settlement under the motto "celebrate like the Vikings". But also at other times you can find evidence of the Northmen along the loop during hiking or cycling.
From Karschau to Haithabu in 30 minutes
If you arrive by car, you can reach the campsite or the Viking Open Air Museum Haithabu in about 30 minutes. Since the Viking Days are among the largest of their kind in Europe, you should book your Schleiblick apartment early for your travel plans. Because the spectacle attracts every year especially many large and small guests from Germany and the whole of Europe.
Food and culinary delights
For the necessary refreshment before your day trip to Haithabu, a kitchen is available in your apartment. Fresh bread rolls can be ordered each morning before the evening for the morning at the kiosk of the campsite opposite the Schleiblick apartment house. This is also possible in the "Karschauer Kroog" restaurant in the same campsite. Here you can also dine lunch and dinner with regional cuisine. A true Viking experience awaits you in Haithabu in the local "Viking-tavern".
