El Mar - the sea. This particular name corresponds to a particularly beautiful location and a well thought-out development. The location of the house is unique, directly above the sea, with a fantastic view of the Messenian Bay, the turquoise-coloured water and the surrounding green landscape. The well-kept holiday flat El Mar is situated on a slight slope above Gargarou beach. The holiday flat is on the elevated ground floor (approx. 15 steps), the basement flat to the side is occupied by the landlords..
Comfortable holiday flat, surrounded by a terraced plot with fantastic sea views. Lovingly furnished, the El Mar holiday flat offers unadulterated holiday experiences by the sea. The two bedrooms with ceiling fans and the shared bathroom are adjacent to the eat-in kitchen. The living room leads directly onto the sea-facing, wrap-around terrace framed by arcades. One customer summarises: ‘the sea view is addictive’. We can only confirm this statement. All you can see is the blue sea and sometimes a sailing boat rounding the coast of Messinia.
From a second terrace to the side of the kitchen area, an external staircase leads to the roof terrace with its unique panoramic view of the bay and the surrounding Messenian landscape. An ideal holiday flat for those seeking peace and quiet and sea lovers. From the terraced property, a few steps lead down the slope to the narrow, almost private beach below the house.
The extensive Gargarou beach is directly adjacent to the narrow beach and the sea below the El Mar house to the north. After a further 500 metres, the fine Peroulia sandy beach with beach bar, sun loungers and umbrellas as well as a taverna is seamlessly connected.
The nearby picturesque town of Koroni, with its beautiful harbour, tavernas and cafés, offers a nice change from the quiet Gargarou surroundings. The towns of Pylos and Methoni on the western side of Messinia also have a special charm.
In the coastal area between Koroni and Pylos there are still many unspoilt, fine sandy beaches.

It is higly recomended that there shoud be some kind of road signs on the way from Charakopio villadge
to to the house and not just the coordinates provided by you.

Es war ein wundervoller Aufenthalt in einer toll gelegenen Unterkunft. Es ist genau der richtige Ort, wenn man Ruhe und Erholung sucht und den fantastischen Blick über das Meer genießen möchte. Ebenso schön waren Spaziergänge und Radtouren, vorzugsweise mit einem E-Bike, durch die Umgebung. Die Wohnung war gut eingerichtet, die Terrasse kaum zu überbieten. Da waren wir hoffentlich nicht zum letzten Mal.
