About this cottage rental

Natural stone house in a charming hillside on terraced ground, which is a quiet area on a dead end. Especially nature lovers and people who want to relax from hectic life will feel at home here, as well as mountain bikers and hikers. The house is equipped with amenities such as television, dishwasher, Wi-Fi.

Our smaller stone house has just been completely renovated and is tastefully furnished with new furniture. It is located in beautiful, quiet hillside, below the large house with beautiful views of Sanilhac and the small valley. There are 2 stone terraces to the east and south (covered with a sun shade), so that there is at any time a suitable space in the outdoors. The two bedrooms with vaulted ceilings are directly connected, you can make no door between them (particularly suitable for a family with max. 2 children because the children's bedroom is a connecting room). The main bedroom has a large arched door with direct access to the small east-facing terrace for breakfast. The kitchen is fully equipped with a new stove, full size refrigerator (3 ***), dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, grill, etc .. and an olive wood dining table seats six. In the cozy living room with leather sofa and wicker chairs, there is a fireplace. The house is unsuitable for young children, as it has a steep wooden staircase and the whole area is not safe for children, the terraces are not fenced off.

Attention! Bed linen and towels are not provided. Since the two houses stand on a plot, they can be fully booked by two friendly families.

Environment: Who loves quiet, unspoilt nature, will feel well in Sanilhac. There even in midsummer no hassle, especially recommended are the spring and autumn from May to mid-November. The area is especially good for hiking, biking on small untracked roads, boating and swimming in the countless suitable clear rivers. The Ardèche region shines through the many ancient villages with typical stone houses of a very special charm. Many small cafes and boules areas invite you to linger. There are several nice places to swim on the rivers z. B. to the Beaume (about 7 km) and Ardeche (closest to Balazuc). A highlight in the region is opened in 2015 Museum: Caverne du Pont d'Arc, a faithful replica of the discovered in Vallon Chauvethöhle with its beautiful cave paintings, absolutely worth seeing! Sports are canoeing, rafting, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, climbing, high ropes Baumgarten ... everything that can be done in a beautiful landscape. In the town itself there is a good and well-known 'Auberge de la Tour de Brison' and a weekly market, which takes place in the summer on Sunday. For shopping there is Largentiere (8 km) or Joyeuse, who both weekly markets and supermarkets. In Aubenas some large supermarket chains are represented.

Getting there: From the north reach most visitors from the North South of France via Lyon and the Autoroute du Soleil. It is either the exit 'Privas' or 'Montelimar Nord' to come to Aubenas, the nearest major town, located about 26 km away from Sanilhac. From Aubenas one drives the main road to the south / direction Ales. After about 18 km turn at the roundabout right towards Largentiere. Shortly before Largentiere shows a signpost left to Sanilhac, which is reached via the town of Montreal to about 8 km. How do you find our house in detail, we will inform the interested bookers of our house in time before departure, based on a precise plan with.

Reservation, house delivery and payment: A reservation is only possible in connection with a down payment of 30% of total rental.
Since our house is often reserved by regular guests who book less than one year before the rental period, it is in the case of cancellation difficult time to find a new tenant. We therefore hope you for the cancellation charges below understanding:
* Cancellation of booking more than 90 days before the rental period 20%
* Between 90 and 30 days: 60%
* Less than 30 days: 100%

The balance is due no later than two weeks prior to departure. Each bird receives a lease for the entire period booked. A deposit of Euro 300.- is to be paid in addition to rent, which will be returned no later than 2 weeks after the end of the rental period and return of the keys.

Trop éloignée de toute vie normale. Une habitation qui avait été décrite en cachant certaines choses, exemples: un accès extrêmement difficile pour les voitures avec un chemin en terre impraticable ensuite une maison à 2 étages avec un escalier en bois trop pentu pour passer d'un étage à l'autre très dangereux d'autant plus que ma compagne boîte à la suite d'un accident, ensuite une terrasse où l'on peut manger sans rambarde de sécurité et un vide de 3 ou 4 mètres, ensuite une télévision verrouillée en langue allemande sans aucune possibilité d'avoir la langue française au moment des élections françaises sans nous avoir averti auparavant, des WC dans la salle de bains sans ventilation c'était anti hygiénique comme pas permis. Pour clore le tout la propriétaire allemande ne parle pas français et était restée en Allemagne. Je pense que la société Abritel devrait visiter les logements de vacances qu'elle loue car ce n'est pas possible. Je vous demande de m'indemniser, si Abritel est une société sérieuse elle doit le faire. Sincères salutations Georges HOFFSTETTER.

Wir waren nun bereits zum zweiten Mal in dieser Unterkunft. Das Haus mit seinen dicken, hunderte Jahre alten Steinmauern ist gemütlich und zugleich originell. Trotz des „alten Kerns“ sind alle Annehmlichkeiten vorhanden. Die Voraussetzungen für einen ruhigen und entspannten Urlaub in der Natur könnten nicht besser sein. Auch bei extremer Hitze - wie wir sie hier erlebten - bietet die Haus schöne schattige Plätzchen und vor allem eine erfrischende Außendusche (die wir oft nutzten). Der Tip der Vermieterin von Badestellen an der Beaume und Drobie waren goldes wert. Hier sind wirklich traumhafte Orte, die zu einem Bad für Mensch und Hund einladen. Apropos Vermieterin: toller Kontakt, sehr hilfsbereit. Wir sagen Danke!

Zum zweiten Mal waren wir in diesem zauberhaften Kleinod und das war nicht zum letzten Mal . Die Kommunikation mit der netten Eigentümerin ist und war hervorragend. Zum Rennrad fahren , Wandern oder einfach nur zum relaxen , ein perfekter Ort !!!

Ideal als schöner Standort abseits der Städte und ideal auch als Ausganspunkt für verschiedene Wanderungen, die alle innerhalb von 30 - max. 60' erreichbar sind. Gute komplette Ausstattung (das WLAN reichte für mehrere Vidieokonferenzen), nette Nachbarn im Haupthaus. In der Jahreszeit noch sehr grün und üppig und fürs Wandern keinesweg zu heiß
