This cosily furnished holiday home (about 40 m²) with a large partially covered wooden terrace and unobstructed views of the Mühlfeldsee is located on a fenced green plot of approx. 800 m² which has direct access to the approx. 60m away via the private play and sunbathing lawn Sandy beach on Mühlfeldsee offers (no public beach - see aerial view). Bathing enthusiasts will get their money's worth as well as hiking, cycling and in-line friends (wonderful 15km inliner + bicycle loop around Lake Seelhausen / Muldeauen Nature Reserve, etc.)
The cottage has a bedroom with double bed and a spacious wardrobe and a second bedroom with 2 single beds and 2 wardrobes (if necessary baby bed available).
In the cozy living area with open kitchen is the large couch, the TV and the dining table. 1 additional bed is possible there, so that in the cottage a total of 5 people can stay.
The cottage has a bathroom with shower, sink and a large closet. The toilet with sink is separate.

- Cozy living area with a large sofa, which can be used as a sofa bed after renovation
- Satellite TV
- electric heating (attention: not in the bedrooms)

Important NOTE:
You can also book this holiday home (FH3) together with the second holiday home (FH4) for 4 persons (+1 extra bed). Both cottages are located on the same property, but are separated from each other. This makes both holiday homes together also very good for larger groups or Familys.
In order to make your stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible, we have taken the utmost care in the equipment of our cottages. So you can look forward to a few nice days at the Mühlfeldsee.
With the holiday and feel-good location directly on the lake these days become a very special experience - approx. 25km from Leipzig directly at the Muldeauen nature reserve and beside the Seelhausener lake. March to October.

Ferienhaus war eines der älteren in diesem Ferienhausgebiet. War jedoch sauber, gut ausgestattet und ausreichend für seine Zwecke. Wir hatten 2 Kids dabei. Es war total entspannt. Strand in direkter Nähe und nur Strandzugang für Ferienhaus Bewohner.
Kleine überdachte Terrasse, auf der wir täglich gefrühstückt haben.
Alles in allem gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
War ein erholsamer Urlaub.

Einfache Buchung & problemlose Abwicklung.
Alles wie abgebildet und beschrieben.
Für einen gemütlichen Seeurlaub mit Kindern eine tolle Adresse.
Sauberer See, flacher Zugang, Sand zum buddeln ... was will man mehr.
Wir fanden es toll und kommen bestimmt wieder.

First and foremost this is a wonderful location if you like water. I’m an open water swimmer and this was idyllic for me. The lovely little beach was accessed by a short walk across open ground and a path between trees. A little log bench allowed you to sit and look out over the water to your heart’s content. I pretty much had the lake to myself for swimming.
The accommodation is well positioned with a nice view, a good partially covered terrace for sitting out and is reasonably private. Facilities inside are mainly good - it is essentially a mobile home so bedrooms are small but it has a good sized living area. There is a good sized supermarket 3 minutes drive away in Lobnitz. I really enjoyed my 5 night stay here.
That being said there are some downsides, and some inaccuracies in the description which it would be worth being aware of, but they didn’t spoil the holiday for me.
1) Linen is provided but at an additional charge. Ditto re towels.
2) There is not a toilet in the shower room as described. The toilet is in a separate cubicle which is really cramped - would be improved by removing the sink to allow room for manoeuvre. If you are large and/or tall this could be tricky.
3) Thank goodness for Google translate! Although it says the host speaks English and German all communication from Holger was in German and Angela, the lovely lady who let us into the property didn’t speak any English at all. We managed fine, but it helps to know this in advance.
4) Finally, and it’s a small thing, there is a working gravel quarry on the opposite side of the lake to the right hand side. The view of it from the property is obscured by the trees, but it is very clear when you go to the lake. I didn’t find it a problem in any way, either the look or the sound of it (not loud at all) but I’m mentioning it for completeness.
Overall this was a good place to stay and I would come back.
