Apartment Montebello offers a breathtaking view of the North Sea and the wide sandy beach of Ostend. You will stay here in a quiet location on the beach promenade, outside the lively city center. When you enter the apartment, you immediately get a vacation mood. The owners have paid a lot of attention to the modern and colorful decor. You can choose to eat at the bar or at the pull-out table. In the bedroom there is a sleeping alcove with a folding bed. For privacy, an isolation curtain was placed between single and double beds. The open bathroom completes the spatial experience. Especially for families, the cottage is ideal. Here you will find all amenities such as stores, restaurants and bike rental within 500m. If you want to shop in the city center, then take the convenient streetcar, the stop is only 300m away. You can even go to Plopsaland in Adinkerke-de Panne or Sealife in Blankenberge. Take a bike ride through the dunes. A visit to the world famous city of Bruges is not to be missed. This UNESCO World Heritage city resembles a huge open-air museum, although it is also a lively shopping city. Children love a boat trip on the famous Reien, as the canals are called.

En plus du confort le propriétaire donne accès à 2 vélos idéal pour des petites ballades le long de la digue. Il y a un parking gratuit à 50 m et une excellente boulangerie à 100m avec un pain au sucre à « tomber par terre ».

Tolle Aussicht in der 7. Etage, direkt an der Waterfront. Für Leute mit Höhenangst völlig ungeeignet!!! Wir hatten kein Problem damit. Der Fahrstuhl funktionierte immer. Das Appartment ist komplett ausgestattet. Für 2 Pers. ideal, die max. Belegung mit 4 Pers. ist u. E. unpassend. Es gibt 2 Etagenbetten, die wir als Ablage benutzten und ein Doppelbett (ein Kleiderschrank fehlt). Das Doppelbett ist allerding sehr tief angelegt, ein Problem für ältere Leute mit Bewegungshandicap. Sie hätten ihre Mühe ins Bett hinein und wieder heraus zu kommen. TV ist völlig international, 5 deutsche Standardsender waren einwandfrei erreichbar. Internet vorhanden und funktioniert gut, allerdings auf jeden Fall die Hausmappe studieren, wenngleich alles nur auf flämisch beschrieben ist; kein Wort in englisch, französisch oder gar deutsch. Die angrenzenden Gastronomien (zu wenige) sind teuer, stets gut frequentiert, da in der Hauptreisezeit mehr Nachfrage als Angebot zu den typischen Esssenszeiten herrscht, und die gelieferte Qualität rechtfertigt nicht den geforderten Preis. Der relativ nahe gelegene Supermarkt von deHeize ist super bestückt und relativ preiswert, für Selbstversorger empfehlenswert. Parken ist ein echtes Problem, insbesondere in der Hauptreisezeit. Kostenlose Parkplätze sind viel zu gering vorhanden. Wer unendliche Strandspaziergänge, Schwimmen und toben in der Nordseebrandung sowie Drachen steigen lassen liebt, keine gastronomische Highligts sucht, statt dessen mehr Richtung Selbstversorger orientiert ist, der ist dort richtig, um seinen Urlaub zu verbringen.
