Newly renovated throughout, this cosy, quiet, fully equipped one bedroom flat has spectacular views of surrounding hills and mountains. Private entrance in chalet with only two other flats. Secluded terrace and small garden. Five minute walk down to station, slight incline on way back. Perfect for skiing and hiking holidays. Direct train link from Geneva airport with one change in Montreux. Cinema, ice skating, swimming and bowling all within 10 minutes walk.

Our stay was fantastic. The apartment is very comfortable. Very clean. As to amenities, I don't believe we have ever been in an accommodation that is better equipped. Moreover, our hostess was at great pains to make our stay the very best possible. We were in Château d'Oex in August. Need I mention that the apartment gives access to all sports, winter and summer? Highly recommended!

I stayed here from 23 January to 29 January. It’s really close to the train station and Main Street so it was easy to get around. It is up a slope so if you have luggage I would advise contacting the local transport to help you with the luggage, but it is easy without luggage. Christine was a great host, very easy to communicate with and the chalet was super cute. There were little touches that made it feel like home.

The property has everything you need to chill out and spent a nice time with family. It is very cosy with the fireplace and the terrace outside. It is fully equipped, even with herbs to cook.

This is a great apartment in a great location just above the village. It has everything you need for a great break, even down to a herb and spice cupboard! thoroughly recommend for a couple summer or winter. I went by train from Geneva and took train to slopes for boarding , ticket included in ski pass. Great week.

I stayed in Christine's flat in the summer, and returned for a winter break. As before, the flat is very comfortable (and lovely and warm in the winter) and well equipped - a well-run rental. A great position in terms of the view, and also for the station for services to Montreux and Interlaken and beyond. Unusually for Switzerland, the nearby Co-op has good opening hours daily. A great holiday choice.

We had hoped to ski part of the week but conditions were not good enough set against cost. We therefore used the Golden Pass train to explore as far Lenk & Gruyere in the other direction. We managed 3 Alpine style walks ( twice using train & walking home). Swimming in Gstaad. Cinema & gourmet food (local producers) event in Chateau d’oex. So- plenty to do! We enjoyed cosy evenings in the chalet-log burner was great- & three afternoons we even managed to “sunbathe” on the terrace! Great holiday in an enchanting area David & Felicity

We really enjoyed our stay, the flat was perfect for 2 persons and with everything we needed for the week. We loved having (late) breakfast in the sun, in the morning! The flat is just 5-10 minutes from the station, allowing for an easy access to train and bus connections.

It's a lovely apartment with amazing views of the montains. The apartment is beatifully decorated in true Swiss style and the open fire was a real treat after a hard day on the slopes. The kitchen is in the proces of being updated which didn't cause us any issues, in fact having a Nespresso coffee machine with pods, made up for it. Our teenage daughters slept on the sofabed which was one of the best and most comfortable we've ever had on holidays. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. I would book this apartment again in the future no problem.
