About this house rental
For the first time I am offering a previously used holiday home / Mökki, which my parents have used as a permanent residence for the past 14 years.
Since we are German, the house was furnished according to German customs, but the Finnish style was retained in the facility.
Nothing should be missing, so the house is equipped like no other in Finland !!!
The house is fully insulated, so it can be used all year round ...
The furnishings cannot be compared to a normal rental property.
Here you will find everything you need to live and enjoy your vacation.
There is definitely no lack of comfort and coziness, because we still use the house ourselves and want to feel comfortable when we are there.
We do not know counted plates and cups.
German satellite television, electricity, fluent drinking water, toilet and shower and 2 stoves, one made of soapstone are also available!

Possibility of fishing in the lake (good stock of pike, perch, eel burbot and white fish). In the vicinity you can also fish for pikeperch, salmon, brown trout, sea trout and char.

Was für eine gute Idee - wenn Winter dann richtig! "Björnila" war das richtige Haus am richtigen Ort. Ausreichend Frost und Schnee, absolute Ruhe und mitten im Wald am See. Toll. Die Ausstattung des Hauses lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben uns putzwohl gefühlt. Die obligatorische Sauna ist ein Extrabonbon. Der Vermieter ist jederzeit ansprechbar, sehr freundlich und prompt zu jeder Hilfe bereit. Dafür Danke. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder tun.

Sehr angenehmer, freundlicher und zugänglicher (telefonisch und per E-Mail erreichbar) Vermieter.
Der Hauswart ist zurückhaltend aber sehr freundlich. Wir sahen ihn nur zweimal, bei der Schlüsselüber - & abgabe.
Das Chalet ist ideal bestückt, es fehlt an Nichts. Die Sauna ist hübsch und gut zu bedienen.
Das Anwesen ist an idyllischer Lage. Sind die Nachbarn abwesend hört man nur die Stille. Super zum Entspannen.
Heinola und Lahti sind gute Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Heinola ist ideal um immer wieder Einkaufen zu gehen. Supermarkt auch Sonntag geöffnet.
Wir waren meistens auf der gedeckten Veranda die Natur am Beobachten, am Lesen und Spielen, da wir ein wenig Pech mit dem Wetter hatten. Umso besser konnten wir aber dann die Sauna draussen und das Cheminée im Hause geniessen.
Für ein wenig Abwechslung fuhren wir einmal nach Lahti und sonst alle drei Tage nach Heinola, hübsches Städtchen.
Rund um das Chalet ist nur Wald und See, man sieht kaum Menschen.
Tiere hingegen, die wir sehen konnten, wenn auch manchmal nur flüchtig, waren Fische, Allerlei Vogelarten und Eichhörnchen. In der Nacht konnten wir auch Jaulen hören (vielleicht der Wolf?).
Mücken waren zum Glück nur in der Nähe des Wassers anzutreffen und der Wald brummte vor Insekten. Um beide haben wir wetterbedingt und der Insekten wegen einen Bogen gemacht.
Wer eine fast unberührte Natur erleben will, ist hier am richtigen Ort.
Wir können es auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Mökki was perfect! We were looking for peace and rest and we found it. The place is amazing and in summer you can use the boat, swim in the lake and if you like to read, you can do it for several hours of sun at the couch hammock on the lake shore.
The place is so beautiful and very quiet (Never listen to the silence before!) and the house is fully equipped with everything you will need. We felt like being in a hotel. It’s a perfect place to enjoy with friends or just a couple.
We also enjoyed the sauna and the cold baths after it!
The relationship with the owner was also peferct!
The only "problem" is that you need a car to move there, but is very easy to get there from Helsinki.
We wanna come back next year!

Alles bestens. Das Haus ist überkomlett ausgestattet, sauber und gepflegt. wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
