The Villa
If you are looking for an exceptional unique home and a memorable "Costa Brava" experience – this is it. Our villa offers complete privacy and tranquillity away from the hiatus of tourists in the high season, but close enough to Tamariu for excellent dining and beach activities.
Designed by a well-known Girona based Architect, it is carved out of a rock with dense pine wood scrubland to the rear and breath-taking sea views providing ultimate comfort, individuality and style.
The villa has been created with great attention to detail and furnished to a very high standard including modern fixtures and technology contributing to an unforgettable stay. The décor is modern yet very comfortable and inviting.
Externally the villa composes of clean, elegant lines integrating nature and the man-made. It is a luxurious combination of materials - weathered steel, wood, concrete and glass beautifully complimenting the nature surrounding the villa.
The property has been published in various design magazines and books; it is constructed over two levels and accessed directly via a lift from street level. All the living areas, including all of the bedrooms, enjoy fabulous sea views. The property is fully equipped with internet channels, the latest curved screen TV, Wi-Fi, a Bose music system and integrated air conditioning.
The mosaic-tiled infinity pool is situated to receive as much sun as possible and is surrounded by Brazilian walnut decking. There are two other outdoor decks for soaking up the sunshine, the rooftop is a spectacular chill-out area with unparalleled 360⁰ views with a BBQ area, Bose speakers and a lower garden deck with outdoor seating.
Villa La Calma is perched on a rock facing the Mediterranean located in Aigua Xelida, part of the ‘Golden Triangle’ of Calella, Llafranc and Tamariu, a province in north-eastern Spain.

This remarkable house and architectural marvel is a perfect place as a base for exploring and as a relaxing haven. It includes all the creature comforts and more. The pool blends seamlessly with the clear sea view. One can spend the day moving from one perfect sitting/viewing/eating/drinking/reading/chatting spot to another, on multiple floors. We ate at home and out, enjoying the owners' recommendations. Groceries and supplies are convenient, the Tamariu beach and kayaks or paddle boards are a few minutes away. But you and your family and friends can readily feel blissfully removed and special in this unique home. This is a home you want to spend time in and enjoy -- it is a true vacation spot!! We would absolutely stay here again.

La Calma is a one off, an amazing property and first class experience all round. Tristan was incredibly welcoming and accommodating on arrival, we took on board advice for where to eat and visit, which again were fabulous. (mooma, funky pizza). The house itself is gorgeous, very comfortable and had everything we needed - but the star of the show is the view. Wow - if you are lucky enough to book this property, you wont forget it.

A lovely villa and very nice owners but slightly smaller pool and deck than we'd hoped for and the villa's location wasn't quite what we thought - there was no real clear outlook as you are on the wrong side of the seaside road. The villa actually overlooks the villas that are on the rock face and have the clear views. On saying this we had a nice time and the architecture and finish of the villa was great and there convenient parking.
