Baleia Azul 16A&C

The location is lovely and the pool and beach combo was great for the kids

There was some areas not clean on arrival but sorted out quickly

Loved the calm serene atmosphere ... The ocean view was phenomenal

Too many lizards & red centipede's in and around the property

My family and I loved the location, facilities and the peace and quiet that we had. We spend two nights and the it had entertainment for my toddler after a day at the beach, which we appreciated it a lot.

We had issues to get to the house. Since we knew the location, we were able to speak to someone to help us find the responsible to give us keys and no one gave us instructions for the wi-fi, which we only had access the next day when the nice cleaning lady came in.

the place looked exactly like on the pictures.

Very important to note this place is in Ponta Malongane which is different from Ponta. Please note that the venue is in a very remote area (it says Ponta but it really is maybe 2 towns over), there are absolutely no shops near by and the only place to eat out is a small cafe maybe 20 mins away. The place itself is good for a staycation type of visit ( please buy your groceries and all snacks and food before you cross the border, we learnt the hard way). we were maybe 45 mins away from Ponte (town) and if you don't have a 4x4 its better if you bring everything you'll need. the beach is nearby but the way to get there is a little round a bout so it is walking distance but not a short one. The venue does have a pool so you have that. We did not have anyone to receive us on arrival so we were a bit confused for a bit but the host sorted that out eventually, the staff was very nice and they came in daily to help clean. we ended up going to town (Ponta) once and that was fun but because its a bit far we paid about R600 (2000 MZN) return. We did have a very good stay but we wish we knew about how far everything is and we could've prepared better. hint, please remember to carry cash as most places/ vendors only take cash ( there was one ATM and the line was not too fun but that's another story ) and you cannot transfer as the locals mention that the process is too long and tedious.
