The hosts were very responsive and sweet. The house has basic furniture but all you need to spend a nice week with friends (2 families). We loved the walks in the neighbourhood (we saw many deers), did 2 longer walks in the Eifel and had the chance to enjoy the garden full with snow. We would be happy to come back :)

We LOVED our stay here. The hosts made it feel like we were staying with family. They were accommodating and really kind, friendly, and generous. They even surprised us with Belgium waffles for our family. The house has a lot of space. Our party of 8 had plenty of room to spread out and we all rested well here. The house and property are immaculately clean. I usually wash all of the dishes before we use them when staying at a new place, but it was so clean here that we felt comfortable using dishes right out of the cupboard. We loved staying in a historic home in all its charm. The backyard was gorgeous. The parking was off street and was no problem for our 9 passenger van.

My family and I had an amazing time. Norbert and his wife were so kind and welcoming. We enjoyed the back yard area and the charming surroundings. I would highly recommend his property. It is just the right amount of updated and just the right amount of farm house. It would not be ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Make sure to enjoy the beautifully kept gardens!

Erna & Norbert are really the best property managers you can wish for. They deserve 10 stars, they took such good care of us! For the property itself we give 4 stars since there are a few pros and cons to take into account. Pro is the beautiful huge garden with lovely flowers, garden furniture, trees for shadow, swings, chickens, a cat, private parking and a vegetable garden. Pros inside the house are the spacious rooms (we stayed there with two adults and a baby), the cool temperature in summer, the double bed in the first bedroom, the long hallway, the dishwasher, two refrigerators and the large kitchen table. Less comfortable are the low doorframe heights downstairs, the dated bathroom and kitchen, the creaking and crooked 1st floor, and the fact that there are no doors at the back of the house to enter the garden directly. We understand that this can come with an 18th century old farmhouse, we just like to be complete and informative in this review. Back to Erna & Norbert: they really pampered us during our entire six week holiday with their warmth, gifts and sincere concerns. They quickly and gladly met our needs and ideas, they helped us out when the three of us got ill in the first weeks, they were literally happy and helpful each single time we saw them. We feel grateful to have met them as our landlords. Dear Erna & Norbert, thank you again for being you and for being so nice to us. We wish you all the best!

The welcome that we recieved was very friendly and helpful. Norbert did his best to speak English and limit his French and German to short sentences that I could comprehend. The house itself is more than comfortable enough for a family of 4 or 5. It is what appears to be a traditional construction in that region of Belgium and very rustic in its feel. However it has all of the comforts of home. Note that the TV service is predominantly German so if travelling from England you will improve your German if you watch it, I didn't realise Sponge Bob Square pants even spoke German! The house, although in a country village, is situated on a main road and traffic can be heard in the sitting room but it is not that intrusive and afterall it is a working farming community and you would expect the odd tractor or 2. I think that the garden is the real gem in this property and we had a couple of days of really good weather to enjot it, my daughter loved the chickens! Great to sit in with a beer or a glass of wine and enjoy the evening sun! The region itself is quite rural, even the local town of St Vith is relatively small but it has everything that you could want, such as Supermarkets, a swimming pool and probably about the best cakes money can buy! You must visit the small bakery/restaurants the cakes are unbelivably good, we went to one almost everyday. There is also an entertainment venue only 3 or 4 miles away with bowling, laser tag and indoor go-karting, which was great on our westest day. I think that this would be an excellent venue if you wanted to have a driving holiday touring southeast Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg. It would also be excellent for a cycling holiday with its sweeping but open country roads, surrounded by open fields and rural views and the house has a huge corridor to store your bikes or you could use the store room next door. I would definitely recommend Norbert's house in Burg Reuland and would like to thank him and his lovely wife for there hospitality and help even with the language barrier. I would also like to thank Pascal, Norbert's son, for all of his help in making the arrangements. Pascals knowledge of the English language really helped.

Das Haus war sauber aber alt und die Gastgebern waren sehr freundlich und nett. Den Garten war groß, herrlich und hat viel Platz für die Kinder zu spielen. Es gab Tisch und stuhle im Garten um zu sitzen und den Fruhlingswetter zu geniesen. Die Küche war komplett mit zwei kleine Kühlschrank und die Umgebung war ein Teil von Himmel. Man musste aber die Toilettenpapier mitnehmen. Die Bettwäsche waren vielleicht nicht aus Baumwolle und nicht gut geeignet für einen tiefen Schlaf durch die Nacht. Insgesamt es wird empfohlen für mehr Familien mit günstigen Budget.

D’abord un accueil chaleureux et très très sympathique. Puis ce qui nous a frappé aux yeux et au nez, c’est l’incroyable propreté des lieux . Ensuite le calme et la tranquillité de l’endroit est très reposant. D’innombrables possibilités de belles promenades en pleine nature. We verbleven 1 week in het huis. Het verblijf was zeer aangenaam. De verhuurders wonen naast het huis. Zeer vriendelijke, makkelijk aanspreekbare mensen. Het huis is in onberispelijke staat. Zeer netjes. Onze drie jonge kinderen genoten van de grote tuin, met schommels! We hebben echt genoten van de mooie natuur en de vele activiteiten in de buurt. Een adresje om te onthouden voor in de toekomst! Bedankt!

Aangename vakantieplek, waar we met ons gezin (6 personen) een fijne week hadden. Kraaknet, goed uitgerust: veel huisraad, kastruimte, kwaliteitsvolle elektrische apparaten, goede bedden... Sympathieke, gastvrije buren-mede-eigenaars. Heerlijke tuin met prima tuinmeubilair. Een paar ligzetels en een sterkere wifi-verbinding zouden het perfect maken. (Het afval wordt gescheiden - pluspunt!) Een extra deur die uitgeeft op de tuin zou het goede wooncomfort nog versterken. Maar dat zou de authenticiteit van het knappe 18de eeuwse gebouw dan weer doorbreken... Voor ons als gezin was één badkamer met daarin het enige wc oké, met meer vakantiegangers of andere samenstelling van het gezelschap is dat snel krap. Het vakantiehuis is niettemin echt een aanrader!

Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad. De grote tuin is echt het pluspunt. Huis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Enige nadeel is dat het huis aan een weg licht waar regelmatig verkeer voorbij komt. S'nachts heb je hier gelukkig wieinig last van.

Prachtig oud huis met grote verzorgde tuin. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst van de eigenaar met verse eitjes en zelfgemaakte honing. Zeer schoon en netjes en van alle gemakken voorzien. Prachtige omgeving met veel wandelmogelijkheden. De betaling was niet goed gegaan bij Home Away, maar is in overleg met de eigenaar in goed vertrouwen betaald op de dag van aankomst.

Wir haben mit sechs Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern Silvester dort verbracht. Alles war zu unserer Zufriedenheit, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war sehr sauber. Wir hatten keinerlei Probleme uns abzusprechen, wer wann ins Bad kann. Küche war prima ausgerüstet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Preis/ Leistung ist absolut angemessen. Die Vermieter, die nebenan wohnen, haben uns sehr gute Tipps gegeben (Supermarkt in der Nähe, Zugfahrt nach Luxemburg). Wer es gerne ruhig und gemütlich hat und keinen Luxus braucht ist hier gut aufgehoben. Hinter dem Haus ist auch ein schöner großer Garten, der im Sommer auch genutzt werden kann!

We zijn zeer tevreden van ons verblijf in de woning. Ietwat ouder interieur, maar dit vonden wij nostalgisch en tof. Alles is proper en netjes onderhouden, ook alles voorhanden wat je nodig hebt, bestek, dekens, radio, … En zelf een doosje verse eitjes als attentie bij aankomst, wat wij apprecieerden. Behulpzame, vriendelijke eigenaars. Geen opmerkingen. Mooie streek en uitzichten, geweldige wandelingen gemaakt, zelfs met de buggy begaanbaar.

Heel aardige en hulpvaardige buren / beheerders (ouders van de eigenaar), die zich in principe nergens mee bemoeien en zich op de achtergrond houden, maar zo nodig en gewenst beschikbaar zijn voor raad en daad. Mooie landelijke -- en over het algemeen: rustige -- omgeving. In de redelijk nabije omgeving genoeg mogelijkheden voor uitstapjes. Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk verwelkomd in ons onderkomen. Er stonden zelfs al eieren en zelf bereide honing voor ons klaar. Het huis is oud en dat is ook te merken, lage deuren en de vloer loop boven scheef. Wij vonden dat geen probleem. Het huis is keurig schoon en alles wat je nodig hebt is voorradig. Bovendien is er een prachtige tuin bij met schommels. Onze kinderen vermaakten zich hier uitstekend. Er is verder geen speelgoed in het huis aanwezig. Als je wilt wandelen dan kun je op deze plek je hart ophalen. De wandelingen lopen voor de deur langs. Het is er prachtig! In de nabije omgeving is van alles te doen. Binnen een kwartier ben je in Luxemburg. Wij zijn vanaf Troisvierges (20 min.) met de trein naar Luxemburg Stad geweest. Erg leuk en ook nog eens goedkoop (OV dagkaart € 4,=, OV groepskaart 5 pers. €12,=, kinderen t/m 12 jaar gratis). En ook Duitsland is snel te bereiken. Wat ons betreft een aanrader!

Nous avons apprécié le gîte et sa localisation, ainsi que l'accueil que nous a réservé les propriétaires. Avec des jeunes enfants, c'est très agréable car il y a un joli jardin, un poulailler, et un peu plus loin dans le village des animaux de la ferme. D'autre part, La région est très belle. Nous y retournerons volontiers.

een gezellige oude boerderij, met een grote eetkeuken gezellige woonkamer en 4 grote slaapkamers, omdat een oud huis is loopt her en der de vloer een beetje scheef, maar dat geeft juist dat authentieke stukje nostalgie aan. de beheerder met zijn vrouw staan altijd voor je klaar en zeer vriendelijk, je kan er zelfs je was afgeven en die komt weer droog terug. in het dorp zelf is niet veel te beleven maar er zijn heerlijke wandelingen te maken en in 10 autominuten ben je in Luxemburg, of in een kwartiertje ben je in Duitsland, al met al een leuke vakantie geweest.

Das Bauernhaus ist wirklich schön und gut ausgestattet, wenn einem eine einfache, rustikale Einrichtung zusagt - bei uns war das der Fall. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Landschaft ist reizvoll und lädt zu Ausflügen in die Ardennen oder auch einem Tagesausflug nach Lüttich, Trier oder Luxemburg ein. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt als Familie mit vier kleinen Kindern. Es ist ausreichend Platz, sowohl im Haus bei schlechtem Wetter als auch in dem tollen, großen Garten. Alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Einrichtung ist einfach aber ausreichend. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

We (2 families, 8 prs) had a nice time. We enjoyed the large garden and the kids loved the swings. We went to several nice activities in the aria, including playground, caves, animal farms and would recommend the place. The house was clean and similar as shown on internet. The neighbours who helped us out were very friendly.
