About this cottage rental

Rustic Two-Story Lake Cottage that sleeps 10-12 people. Large fenced in front yard and steps to dock on the lake in back. Dock and stairs to the dock are new for the 2021 season. The cottage has 4 bedrooms: 1 king bed, 5 double beds, and 1 twin. Two bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs. Living room/Dining area. Kitchen with coffee maker, toaster, basic utensils, pots/pans, dishes provided. Bathroom upstairs with shower. Bathroom downstairs with tub/shower.

Guests provide sheets, towels, blankets, paper products, and cleansers. We start you out with the first trash bags, paper towel, and toliet paper. Pillows are provided.

Your balance is to be paid on vrbo before your check-in. An $80.00 deposit in cash is due at check-in. This portion is a refundable cleaning/key deposit which is refunded in cash at check-out if you clean up at check-out and return your keys.

Very clean. Ruth was wonderful. Big rooms with good kitchen. Walk to Indiana Beach was about 4 minutes. p.s. bring your own Roku stick and extra floor fans. We will return to this house.

Ruth is a great host! Our grandkids love this place greatly because of the proximity to Indiana Beach. we would take the young one's home for their nap while the older kids would stay. we were able to go back and forth as we desired. We rented a pontoon boat for 2 days and docked by their pier. we are already making plans for next summer.

This cottage is located right next to the south entrance of Indiana Beach, which was very convenient. We also enjoyed fishing off of the pier while watching the rollercoasters. We had such a great time!

Location was unbelievable, we have parked farther away from the entrance. House was perfect for 12 of us, location on the lake was perfect, dock was very nice and fire pit area was great. There was nothing to complain about and the owner always responded immediately when I sent her a message.

This charming house was very clean and spacious. Location to Indiana Beach is outstanding. The hosts were super friendly and very accommodating. We enjoyed floating in the lake off the deck (conveniently located in the no wake zone). If you prefer a little separation from the boardwalk and/or privacy but still want to be walking distance to IB, this is the place for you. We will be back!

We absolutely loved it. Its the perfect location, clean and lots of room in the house. Plenty of beds for everyone. The outside decks and patio were great to sit around a fire and or enjoy the views of the lake and the lights of Indiana Beach. The owner of the home was very nice and helpful of anything I needed and answered any questions I had. We will definitely be back next year. Thank you so much for a great easy smooth transaction. Our family was meeting here for a weekend stay and a day at Indiana Beach. When the listing stated the property was next to the south entrance, it was spot on! It was perfect for us since we had several small children. Ruth was very nice at check in and accomodating with enough keys for everyone. The cottage was the perfect size to accommodate our entire family with plenty of beds and space for hanging out. We enjoyed our stay!

We stayed for the weekend. My family of 5 and my brother in law with his family of 4. Right next to the entrance of Indiana Beach. Owners are next door on the other side. Owner was attentive and easy to contact. We had plenty of room. Spent the entire day at the park and were able to come back several times to eat and change clothes. We all had a great trip!

This property is located just steps from the gate to Indiana Beach. It is a classic lake cottage reminiscent of my childhood. There are multiple decks for docking a boat or sitting to watch fireworks. The trip down the stairs could be challenging for those with mobility issues. Not fancy, but clean and spacious. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Loved our stay at this property!!! The owners, who live right next door, and their daughter who lives close were all amazing. Answered all our questions immediately throughout our stay. The house and property were perfect for our whole family. Plenty of room for a big group. We brought our pontoon. Was so nice to be able to jump on at anytime of the day and be on the lake or just be on the dock fishing too!! We also enjoyed the fire pit area every night. Whole family have season passes to Indiana Beach Park, which entrance is right next to the house The grandkids made several trips a day to the park. Even though house was next to entrance we felt very secluded and plenty of privacy in back of the house looking out onto the lake. Between the lake and park everyone was happy the entire stay and no one was ever “bored” with nothing to do. It is an older home, so if your looking for fancy it’s not but it is very clean and we enjoyed it so much!!! We have already booked for next year. Thanks again Ruth, Jim, and Laura for everything!!!

Met my family's needs. Excellent location to Indiana Beach Amusement Park. Great front yard for kids to play. Very clean. Not a lot of kitchen counter space but we were not there to cook gourmet meals. Hosts were very nice. Would rent cottage again.

- mice - doors and drawers don’t work - big gaps in doors - no fans in bathroom or bedrooms - very musty smell - small bugs in bed - air conditioning is very, very loud - furniture was outdated - no ceiling in bedroom (upstairs) - steps to the dock are VERY dangerous - dock was good - can’t open side door because of carpet - got locked inside from the front door - inconvenient kitchen service space - be aware that you have to bring your own bedding

The home was right next to the indiana beach entrance. It had plenty of space and bedding and we were also very pleased with the outside setup (yard, blacony, fire pit, fishing dock, view of the park). The pictures for the listing are alittle out dated and we were pleasantly surprised upon arrival that the house was even better than we had expected! Also, this isn't listed in the amenities, but it was a great amenity that was extremely helpful...there are two fridges in the kitchen (one is labeled the beverage fridge)! :) Thank you for a great place to stay for the week, we loved it!

We had a nice stay and the location was ideal! Being able to come and go to the park was so perfect. The owners were wonderful and very each to communicate with. The only obstacles we had were the sound and light while trying to get infants to nap/sleep. Other than that, I’d book again!
