About this house rental
Beautiful vacation home with pretty furnishings and a cozy atmosphere. The house has everything you want for your vacation and in the evening you can enjoy the warmth of the fireplace. The northwestern part of the island of Zealand with its charming varied landscape offers you a variety of leisure activities. You can visit art museums, play golf and tennis, and there are excellent fishing grounds along the coasts. Enjoy the beautiful nature on hikes or bike tours. On the glacial Odsherred headland you will feel like you are in a geopark. On it you will find along the Tumulus Road, with the barrows and burial mounds, witnesses of the Stone and Bronze Ages, the remains of a forest village in Ulkerup abandoned 300 years ago, the Hempel Glass Museum and in the Odsherred Museum the copy of the sun chariot found in the bog Trundholm Mose. You will also see the erratic boulder Lommesten and the castle Næsholm Borg, which stands on a small island in the lake Nygård Sø between Højby and Nykøbing Sj. On Odsherred there is also a nature school that lets you catch sea stars, organizes butterfly safaris and expeditions into the forest, and invites you to troll and fox excursions. Your children will also be thrilled by a visit to the Odsherred Fire Museum. Havnebyen is the only real fishing harbor with cutters and a small smokehouse. Even recreational anglers will always get something on the hook here. In Nykøbing Sjælland you can do good shopping and enjoy the coffee house life. 15 min drive to Sommerland Sjælland with many attractions. (Unlimited internet)
