Cycling trips to Luxembourg and France have no noteworthy gradients, and the neighboring Saarland can also be managed almost flat by bike. Forest and hiking trails are also plentiful. A car ferry takes you directly to Luxembourg, and there is also a train connection to Trier (Germany's oldest city). Wineries with very good wines are in the immediate vicinity. Lockable parking space for bicycles available. Arrival 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. or by appointment.

Easy access via train as a change to driving. Large flat with amenities as expected, steep stairs unexpected and would be an issue for some. Overall needs updated, bedding was very worn as were towels etc, had to wash utensils bed use as had been put away dirty. Smelt of stale cigarettes on arrival

We had a fantastic time here - lovely spacious apartment in a very convenient location for exploring the region, and with fabulous views of Luxembourg and the Moselle river. The host was also really friendly and welcoming - would definitely come back!

Beautiful spot

Perfect location for hopping between two Countries, evening walks riverside charm! Would go again. Only one downer for me.; no freezer , not even a tiny box one like in some built in fridges. For the rest pretty perfect spot for day tripping. It's also fairly quiet at times but remember people live around and life moves and grooves. Some traffic ( train plane boats and cars) expected. A very nice owner too.

We had a lovely stay here on the River. Such a terrific view of all the River Cruise Barges, Swans, and Ducks. The apartment was very well appointed will everything we required. All appliances worked quite well. The apartment was as advertised and well worth the rental charge. Our Host was so helpful. He brought us maps and information on the area. I had a bad ankle and he supplied me wilth an ice pack as I needed it. We would go back and stay here again. The Host was a pleasure to visit with. Thank you for a lovely Holiday.

Die Wohnung bietet Platz, liegt nahezu direkt am Moselufer und hat einen schönen Balkon (Flussblick). Leider war Sie bei betreten nur unzureichend gereinigt. Zwar waren viele Sachen sauber (etwa die Küche), aber an einigen Stellen war Nacharbeit erforderlich, weil wir mit einem Kleinkind reisten. Zum Beispiel waren Krümel und Haare auf den Bettbezügen und auf dem Laminat sieht man auch schnell kleine Verschmutzungen. Insgesamt sind für die Nacharbeit 3 Stunden angefallen. Daraufhin haben wir die Pauschale für die Endreinigung telefonisch zurückgefordert. Auf die Missstände angesprochen und mit unserer Forderung konfrontiert, legte die Vermieterin mit den Worten "Lassen Sie mich in Ruhe!" auf. Das Geld haben wir nicht zurückerhalten. Das hinterließ einen äußerst unprofessionellen Eindruck und dämpfte die Urlaubsstimmung leider sehr nachhaltig. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung somit nicht zu empfehlen.

was verder een redelijk nette woning. De bedden liggen prima alleen erg laag. Alleen als minpuntje vonden we dat de glazen en pannen erg vet waren dus we hebben eerst alles afgewassen voordat we het gebruikten. De badkamer was wel schoon en netjes. De verhuurders waren vriendelijk.

Hemos pasado una semana maravillosa recorriendo el valle del Mosela y el apartamento de Alfred ha sido perfecto como base de nuestros recorridos. El apartamento tiene todo lo necesario para una buena estancia, y un balcón perfecto con vistas al rio. Solo tengo palabras de agradecimiento a Alfred y a su mujer por la buena acogida que nos dieron, su amabilidad y sus consejos para ver la zona. Sin duda alguna si vuelvo a la zona me querré hospedar en este alojamiento

Die Lage ist, wie angegeben, hervorragend. Beim Frühstück auf dem Balkon konnten wir Aussicht und Treiben genießen. Es fehlt aber ein Sonnenschutz. Abends um 22.00 musste man aufpassen, rechtzeitig den Sprung nach innen zu schaffen, wenn man nicht draußen schlafen wollte: Das Rollo schloss sich automatisch. Der Vermieter konnte es nicht abstellen, die Frau war in Urlaub. Der Standort ist ein 1A Startpunkt für Radtouren an Mosel, Saar und Sauer, gute Bahnanbindung auch nach Luxemburg. Zusatztipps vom Vermieter. Leider standen unsere hochwertigen Fahrräder zwar hinter einem Zaun, aber ungeschützt draußen. War nicht toll, vor allem bei dem Starkregen ; wenigstens die Elektrik des Pedelec haben wir mit einem gelben Sack notdürftig abgedeckt . Vordergründig schien es sauber in der Wohnung, dann, nachdem wir geputzt hatten, war es das auch im Badschrank und auf Ablageflächen Ebenso musste man die weniger benutzten tiefen Teller im Schrank von deutlichem Staub befreien... Also, Ecken, Wandränder, Schrankinneres, Badematte und Langflorteppich waren definitiv schmutzig . Beim Öffnen der Fenster fragteman sich dann, wie lange der Schmutz schon Zeit hatte, sich abzusetzen. Jedenfalls beachtliche. Sehr irritiert hat uns die Verweigerung des 2. Schlafzimmers - der Raum war abgeschlossen - mit dem Argument, wir seien doch nur 2 Personen. Wir haben doch nicht ohne Grund eine größere Wohnung gebucht! Der Vermieter konnte den Raum auch nicht öffnen, da die Frau verreist war und er angeblich nicht wußte, wo der Schlüssel war. So etwas ist in unserer jahrzehntelangen FeWo-Erfahrung noch nie vorgekommen - man lernt halt nie aus. So teilt man sich eben einen 1,20m Kleiderschrank mit 6! Bügeln und einem Brett für Sport- und Straßenkleidung und lebt eine Woche aus dem Koffer, wie beim Camping. An ein zu weiches Bett mit Kunstfaserbettwäsche gewöhnt sich der Rücken nicht. Trotz der tollen Lage, der umfangreichen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten und des netten Restaurants nebenan direkt am Moselufer werden wir die Wohnung nicht weiter empfehlen.

Insgesamt ist mein Eindruck zur Wohnung zwiegespalten: Posititiv ist auf jeden Fall die Lage mit guten Ausflugsmöglichkeiten nach Trier, mit dem Zug nach Luxemburg usw. Ebenso der Ausblick auf die Mosel sowie die Nähe zum Bahnhof, so dass man das Auto getrost für ein paar Tage stehen lassen kann. Die Vermieter waren recht bemüht, uns Tipps und Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge zu zeigen, ein frisches Glas Marmelade stand bereit, das machte alles einen netten und positiven Eindruck Allerdings hat die Wohnung schon so ihre Macken, im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes Für Allergiker ist sie sicherlich ungeeignet, aufgrund der teils langflorigen Teppiche, die Bettwäsche roch auch dezent nach Rauch Mit Krabbelkindern ist es etwas schwierig, da die Wohnung an seltsamen Stellen Stufen hat und im Bad ein Fenster auf Kniehöhe ist, was natürlich zum Risiko für Kleinkinder wird, wenn es mal offen steht und jemand vergisst, die Tür zu schließen. Teilweise sind die Teppiche und Fliesen schon etwas angeschlagen, insgesamt war es nicht überall sauber bzw. wirkte zumindest nicht so. Was mich vor allem störte, war der Trittschall, denn man hört wirklich jeden Schritt des Vermieters mit einem ziemlich penetranten Knarzen. Das geht über das, was man normalerweise in einer Wohnung von dem Bewohner darüber hört, bei Weitem hinaus. Wenn man den gleichen Biorhythmus hat, ist das kein Problem, aber abends und morgens fand ich es schon störend. Insgesamt hatten wir ein paar schöne Tage, weil wir uns von den Nachteilen auch nicht die Laune verderben haben lassen. Ein zweites Mal aber eher nicht.

Die bewertete Ferienwohnung liegt direkt an der Mosel und hat viel Potential. Den einen Stern bekommt sie jedoch nur für die schöne Lage und Aufteilung. Leider war die gesamte Wohnung nicht sauber. Der Toilettendeckel ist an den Schanieren total vergammelt und der Dreck rieselte auch auf das WC, die Abflüsse in Waschbecken und Wanne hatten Ränder (ich empfehle mal eine alte Zahnbürste, damit geht das wunderbar sauber), in jedem Raum waren Spinnenweben in vielen Ecken, in der Wohnzimmerlampe waren unzählige tote Insekten. Kühlschrank, Backofen, Kaffemaschine mussten vor Gebrauch von uns erst gereinigt werden, ebenso das Geschirr vor Benutzung. Die Schränke waren innen wie außen nicht sauber. Gewischt wurde, jedoch waren dann Dreck und Haare an den Übergangsschienen hängen geblieben. Am Bett im Hauptschlafraum ist an einer Seite am Kopfende das Kunstleder total abgeschabt, es lädt nicht gerade zum Schlafen ein. Im Badezimmer hingen zwei benutzte und fleckige Bademäntel, die Platzsets auf dem Tisch sind fleckig, es waren Ei Reste darauf. Beide Wolldecken im Wohnzimmer haben Flecken. Die zur Verfügung gestellten Handtücher waren fadenscheinig und alt. Auf meinem Bettlacken waren sowohl Flusen als auch Schmutz, wir befürchten das diese gar nicht frisch bezogen waren. Die Frau des Vermieters ist total unfreundlich geworden als wir höflich auf die Umstände hingewiesen haben, dabei wollten wir weder Geld zurück noch Sonstiges sondern einfach nur eine Info damit sie etwas ändern kann. Da wir davon ausgehen das die Vermieter das hier alles abstreiten werden haben wir alles fotografiert. Es ist einfach unglaublich schade das so reagiert wurde, denn ich bezweifel das sich dann etwas ändern wird. Die Vermieterin fühlte sich völlig im Recht und sagte alles wäre sauber gewesen, den Schmutz hätten wir gemacht. Ich habe noch höflich gefragt ob wir denn wohl auch in der ganzen Wohnung Spinnenweben aufgehangen haben und tote Insekten verteilt aber dann war es mir auch zu dumm zu diskutieren. Ich kann nur von einer Anmietung abraten.
