Spotless large accomadation. Host was very friendly and spoke good English. Host greeted us with a bottle of wine, fruit, easter eggs and a delicious homemade cheesecake. Gave us a pot of home made jam on leaving. Wonderful, perfect stay.

All our daughter wanted for Christmas (she is studying in Germany) was a house with a living room. She lives in a dorm and misses feeling at home. This place did not disappoint! 5 of us, ranging from 22 to 79, loved our stay. The owners decorated for Christmas, including a fresh tree! They had everything we needed to make Christmas cookies and to celebrate the holiday with a racklette and fondue set. They made a spreadsheet of local Christmas Eve services when I asked about local churches. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet and very nice. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

The property is very clean and has everything you need. The location is centrally located, you could travel to Alsace to the the west, Heidelberg to the north, Black Forest to the East and Basel to the south. The owners are very nice and will answer all your questions. We would stay here again.

We used this gem of a property as our hub to explore The Black Forest, Colmar, Freiburg and Burg Hohenzollern. We could have easily stayed more then 3 nights to explore more of the area. Horst and Elizabeth were welcoming and friendly hosts. They even spoke some English! We were greeted with a homemade cake and bottle of wine. The house was a very functional setup with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Property was well stocked with everything we needed. Having the host on the property (totally separate and private) was very helpful as they shared with us information on beautiful Ettenheim including a local street party. We would ABSOLUTELY without hesitation book here again.

Great apartment! It's spacious, beautifully decorated, perfect for the foiur of us, had everything we needed. Beautiful gardens, view and places to sit inside and outside. Wonderful location for walking to restaurants and seeing the Aldstadt/Old Town. Great base for nice drives in the car to places like Breisach and Eguisheim/Alsace. Another day we took the train to Freiburg and Lake Titisee. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Our host was friendly and informative and helped us make the best use of our time in the Black Forest. The home was very clean and modern and was perfect for two couples traveling together. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. It was a pleasant surprise to find we could walk to a lovely small town.

The house was very well stocked with everything we could ask for - the facilities were excellent and the quality of everything in the house - including furniture, kitchen fixtures, linen, towels, etc. was top of the line. We thoroughly enjoyed the place and also the warmth shown by Mr. and Mrs. Winkler was much appreciated. We had a lovely stay. Thank you!

i have to say, it was a pleasure to stay here. 7 of us stayed, there was plenty of room. The accommodation itself of the highest standard, well throughout use of space. Loved the huge TVs in bedrooms and living room. The owners are very friendly and very helpful with everything we needed. The only downside: just one bathroom. The exclusive sauna and garden more than compensates. So all in all I'd 100% recommend staying here. We will defiantly be booking a visit in the future.

Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich in bevorzugter Lage von Ettenheim. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und hervorragend ausgestattet und äußerst gepflegt. Der an die Wohnung angrenzende Gartenabschnitt ist zur Benutzung reserviert und verfügt über zwei möbilierte Terassen, davon eine überdacht, die wir sehr gerne genutzt haben. Wir haben ein verlängertes Wochenende bei Familie Winkler verbracht und es war einfach traumhaft! Eine süße Begrüßung und ein herzlicher Host haben uns bei Ankunft erwartet. This was a fantastic experience! It could not have been any better. The apartment was extremely clean, complete & comfortable. The washer & dryer were especially useful. Our host family was extremely friendly and accommodating , especially with info and tips for touring. Finally the apartment is especially well situated for exploring the Black Forest and Alsace. We were so extremely satisfied with this rental that we may do it again next year!!!

Wir haben in der Villa Ettenheim eine sehr schöne Zeit gehabt. Angefangen von den supernetten Vermietern, bis zur einfach perfekten Wohnung. Es fehlte nichts. Die beiden Terrassen haben eingeladen, in dem sehr schönen Garten, die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Vielen Dank liebes Ehepaar Winkler für die vielen guten Tipps und auch für die netten Kleinigkeiten.

We had the pleasure to stay in the holiday house for five days in July 2018. The house configuration was perfect for two 16 YO’s and two adults, with 3 bedroms and two bathrooms. With a nice living room and a fully equipped kitchen, nothing was missing in order to have a great vacation. The house is located in walking distance to bakery, café and restarants in Ettenheim. The host family was friendly and helpful in every possible way. We all enjoyed our stay, and we can without doubt give it the best possible rating.

Ein wunderschöne Ferienwohnung und Vermieter wie man sie sich nicht besser wünschen kann ! Vom ersten Kontakt bis zur Abreise einfach sagenhaft gut. Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und wer sich hier nicht erholen kann dem kann man auch nicht helfen. Wir haben die Tage mehr als genossen und die Zeit ging viel zu schnell vorbei. Wir waren mit 2 Familien (4 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder im Alter von 2-5) im April dort. Es war ein sehr schönes langes Wochenende, die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Vermieter sind sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Besser geht es einfach nicht!

Hello, we are a French family of 6 persons and we have enjoyed a lot our stay in Mrs & Mr Winkler's apartment which is very well equipped and decorated. We have appreciated the nice and warm welcome of our host who are speaking English very well. While we have enjoyed the fruits basket, the kids have particularly liked the Easter chocolates eggs that our host have kindly left for them hence the large bedrooms equipped with TV's. Our stay has been perfect and the place is really convenient to go and visit Europa Parc (8km). The only recommendation we would make is to clarify that the Sauna (20 euros per session) is not included in the rental price in order to prevent from any misunderstanding. We will be delighted to come again.

Ausstattung der Unterkunft ist super (Boxspringbetten, drei Fernseher, Internet, sehr grosse Sauna, Geschirr/Gläser in alle Varianten). Zwei Terrassen, Gasgrill, zwei Parkplätze. Dorf mit Geschäften ist in fünf Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Vermieter sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Einziges Manko: Terrassen sind auf der Nordseite und auch die Wohnung liegt eher nach Norden.

Wir verbrachten unsere diesjähren Weihnachtferien in dieser schönen Ferienwohnung.Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und um das Wohl Ihrer Gäste bemüht. Für uns wurde die Wohnung weihnachtlich geschmückt, sehr geschmackvoll, selbst ein Weihnachtsbaum durfte nicht fehlen. Die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet, wir haben nichts vermißt. Ein besonderes Highlight war für uns die Sauna, in der wir uns nach unseren Wanderungen und Ausflügen entspannen konnten. Noch einmal ein herzliches Dankeschön an Familie Winkler für die schöne Zeit- wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

wir waren zu viert (2Kinder) vor Ort, um den Europapark zu besuchen. Man ist mit dem Auto in max. 10 Minuten am Park, aber trotzdem in einer ruhigen Lage. Alles war sehr sauber, die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig. Am ersten Abend haben wir gegrillt auf der herrlichen Terasse, mit einem tollen Überblick über die Landschaft. In den Zimmer gab es gut funktionierendes WLAN, und auch die TVs (3 in der Wohnung) waren auf dem neuesten Stand. Auch Küche und Bad waren sehr geräumig.
