The lovely two-bedroom/two-bath guest cottage is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and has vaulted ceilings, wood floors, a fully-equipped kitchen, living and dining rooms, and a screened lanai.
This fantastic Captiva Island vacation rental allows special events for up to 100 people with an additional $3,000 plus tax event fee, plus a refundable event damage deposit of $1,000.

This was our first year doing VRBO for our large family and it was the perfect location. We were able to dock our boat directly out back and golf carts were delivered right to the property. The house is gated and is separated by the guest house and pool. The set up worked perfectly for this trip and we are extremely grateful for the experience and the memories made. Thank you.

The 2 houses pool and expansive property was great. However, we were not told that contractors would be blocking the driveway to replace pavers. The washer and dryer in the guest house did not work when we got there. We got a knock on the door at 7am one morning by delivery personnel with replacements without warning. Not something you want to happen on vacation

Wonderful house and great location. The grounds were lovely and the guests were wowed by the whole event that we hosted there. It rained that afternoon of the wedding and we moved inside with 70 guests and caterers. It was a blast and it worked perfectly. The night before we partied at the pool area with all the same guests. Can't say enough and appreciate the house and Barbara Harrington and the entire staff for making it a memorable event.

Our family had the pleasure of staying at the Otter Banks home on Captiva Island this past April. Our vacation began with my daughter's wedding on the grounds of the property. I cannot say enough about the layout, the accommodations and facilities of this property for such an event! The management company catered to our every whim and provided excellent customer service before and especially during our stay there! Any couple looking for an intimate, private setting for their special day should definitely consider this location. The Otter Banks home is a well-maintained, well-appointed property. It has plenty of space to accommodate a large family or group between its main and guest houses. There is also ample parking for all of your guests and vendors. The beach access is convenient and provides a tropical Gulf Coast backdrop for your nuptials. I would highly recommend this property if you are considering a destination wedding on Captiva Island or even a relaxing beach vacation in sunny Florida! Check it out, I promise you will not be disappointed!
