About this apartment rental
The "Nook" is a cozy, furnished year round one bedroom apartment at Higgins Beach, Scarborough, Maine, just a two minute walk to the most incredible silver-sand beach in southern Maine. The bedroom has a Queen size bed and a futon sleeper. The sitting room has a comfortable love seat and Color TV. The fully furnished Kitchen/Dining area has bead board and hardwood. Also, outdoor dining table and chairs and gas grille. No laundry on site. Please bring your own sheets and towels. No smoking or pets allowed.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Nook. It was clean and comfortable, including a nice yard to enjoy, the host lives on the property and is very friendly, and you can’t beat the location - one block from the beach. A great spot!

I stayed at The Nook for 6 nights, the first night my husband was there and rest of the week I was on my own, working remotely and seeing my son who works in Portland. The location of The Nook perfect in its proximately to Portland, and of course the 2 minute walk to get to the beach just couldn't be better. The Nook had everything I needed, and communication with Judith, the owner, was easy and immediate. I would definitely recommend The Nook to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in the cute Higgins Beach neighborhood.

My husband and I loved our stay at The Nook, it was very relaxing. Communication was excellent, the apartment was clean, comfortable, kitchen was well equipped to meet our needs. We enjoyed walking to Higgins Market for a cup of coffee in the mornings. The location was great for day trips to Kennebunkport & Portland. The best part-it was quiet so we slept well & the short walk to the beach was fantastic! We look forward to returning.

The Nook once again was a perfect location for our summer vacation. The Nook itself is perfect for a couple, and its a short walk to the beach.
