Lovely little retreat spot next to a busy main highway

Very friendly and pretty little spot. They gave me an upgrade, which was very sweet

We love our stay especially the cats there. Everything was good. But, we stayed 2 nights and they didn’t clean our room

We love the building, the cats and dogs they have, the view and the space.

Sadly, the mattress and pillows were not that comfortable for me. They also didn’t have a restaurant to serve us lunch and dinner. I hope in the future they can serve lunch and dinner as well because the neighbor was not very easy to walk around and if we keep using Gojek, more plastic and styrofoam we have to deal with.

These bamboo houses are gorgeous, very nicely designed and spacious. The view of the landscape is lovely, immersed in a jungle green, with the mesmerizing sounds of the river nearby. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, ready to answer all my questions and have a laugh or share stories from now and then.

Amazing villa worth the money

The two bedroom villa is amazing and such good value for money, it is an eco village so not much around so bring beer and wine or you can use grab to get some. Amazing place for a night away though.

The hotel cancelled our booking without our confirmation. We were not even allowed to enter the property. The staff asked us to wait at gate for 2.5hrs. We specially booked a villa for the experience and were deprived of it. Worse hospitality. They already gave rooms to some other guests. Will never recommend anyone to ever stay there.

Truly beautiful!

What a truley beautiful place to stay! This place is magical, surrounded by nature and right on top of a river. The suites have everything you need and so many places to chill out, breakfast is delivered to you in the morning which again was lovely. The staff were so helpful and so friendly, collecting our luggage from the car and taking it to our room. We had dinner there too, which was delicious. Very clean, and authentic. It's quite a small peaceful retreat, so if your looking for a busy resort it's probably not the place for you! If you want a relaxing authentic beautiful tree house to stay in then it's perfect!

There is nothing we didn't like about our stay.

THE BEST PLACE TO RECHARGE

1. The pleasant and helpful staff. 2. The concept of their huge bamboo houses. 3. The Cleanliness and the serenity vibe. 4. The river right in front of my bamboo house. 5. The surroundings, it is truly an eco-village. 6. The food. I will definitely come back here soon, hopefully with my family.

1. The location is not easily accessible by the taxi, that's why you should book your taxi early on. 2. No staff after 7pm, except the security guard. 3. The 4 or 5 rats running around my room, especially at night. 4. My time was not enough. 🙈

Off the beaten path GEM!

This awesome Eco retreat is a bit off the beaten path, but that only adds to its charm. With a river running along side the villas there is an immediate feeling of relaxation. When you arrive you are greeted by the charming staff and a welcome drink (more of a detox elixir). The villas, entirely built with bamboo, are great for small groups with two rooms available, both with their own outdoor bathrooms! The beds are comfy and come with nets for bugs … did I mention you are nestled deep in the Balinese jungle? The included breakfast in the morning is delicious as well. Definitely recommend and hope to stay here again!!!

2days of relaxing stay

Everything was easy, staff was really nice and available for us. The bungalow were really as depicted on the photo. We loved it !

Location is good. 9 rating just for the hospitality and the location as I just wanted some alone time in the woods with a river flowing sound to relax and enjoy reading a book while sipping on some spirits. The team is amazing, beautiful and kind people. Always ready to help.

Nothing to do around tabanan as it's a remote location far way from everything. So if you just want to relax and don't want to do any activity it's good but think before you book as it's a very remote location and sometimes it's even hard to get a grab. No money exchanger nearby. The bed sheets and bed curtains had stains of food and was not changed.

a pleasant natural setting, friendly staff

I don't usually write reviews, let alone negative ones, but what I've seen obliges me to do so and has an impact on the overall rating I've given this establishment. I found behind the open-air toilets a cage with 4 kittens and their mother. The cage gave off a terrible smell, and I alerted the staff to the situation once. The next morning when I left, the situation hadn't changed, so I asked the staff to open the cage: 3 kittens had died of hunger and thirst, and the cage was full of excrement and piss - it was absolutely horrible. The surviving kitten and mother were in a deplorable state, having spent over a week locked up in this cage without food or water... pure torture. The staff couldn't explain the situation to me, and the manager wasn't there... This shows the neglicence of this establishment... A very, very bad experience that spoiled a 1-day stay in that place.

The place entrance not clear and difficult to see The road lead to the villa is no asphalt from the main road The contact number is off all time difficult to reply and no one reply on your message on booking too The service so bad not as expectations The staff not speak English with guest or visitors The room has no enough lights The place is far away and there is no employee in the evening if you need anything in addition to the contact number is closed. No Air conditioner The place is full of small ants, and you can't leave your food for a few minutes.

A unique place to stay.

It is a unique place to stay. It is a village of bamboo houses by the river. It was really cheap and was worth it. They have a plan to expand the village, which means that it may be more expensive to stay there in the future.

We arrived late and we only met the security who didn’t speak English very well. We had been trying to call them multiple times during the day to inform them that we were going to arrive late, but nobody was answering, which stressed us. We stayed in the villa. The room in the first floor has glass doors, but the room in the second floor is totally open which may be an issue for someone, concerning the villa is in the jungle.

Its alright just for retreat and not for long stay.

I like the theme- bamboo structures and the sound of river. Location is by the river. Just what I’ve been looking for. Feeling of being in the forest- with bats flying at night, sounds of cicada, leaves and the stream of the river. Food was good.

Linens and towels doesn’t look fresh. Safety issue on the deck- it looks like it cannot support our weights if we take pictures together. River has some trash- unsightly.

just average, could be better

-unique bamboo design -in front of river, nice view -got net at the living hall for you to chill in -has balcony

-location quite tedious to find according to grab -only provide breakfast, no nearby food/restaurant, need to order from grab -the bamboo walls has many gaps especially the toilet, I can actually see a person walking outside..which the person can probably see me too. -no garbage can at the open living room. -food for breakfast is average with only vegan choices available -No power socket in the living hall area. -No fridge to keep food. -no room tour/explanation by staff about the place so kinda of figured out myself how things work. -staff not very friendly and does not respect guests privacy as I found 1 staff just casually walked upstairs to find us, he didn’t even say hello for us to acknowledge his presence before he came up to our room. -no bike rental.

Staff were awesome ! Best part about the eco village. Beautiful spot, and by the waterfall. Road driving up it is a little rocky, but nothing too bad. The capsule beds are a bit open, and would recommend bringing a lock to safely put belongings away. Not the safest for lock up. Only one for the hostel type area. Beautiful spot tho, amazing staff. Clean and beautiful surroundings.

Worst so far in Bali

The design, the view and the nature

That the sheets were from past guests (not changed), 2 in the kitchen was so stinky and dirty. No restaurant so it was suppose to cook, but in that dirt (a rat was in the kitchen also) ... could not. 2 rats during the night visited our room. Maybe years ago, when the place was opened, was great, because the pics and reviews look very good, but now we tought that place is abandonated. We were alone there. ... no personal. Sorry for rhis, but maybe it hepls next guests.
