Great location; shopping and restaurants nearby. Flat was well equipped and, generally, very clean; beds were great. Communication with the owner/manager was excellent. The guest book with rules and instructions was useful and we appreciated the maps and information on local attractions. Overall, a good stay.
Kitchen floor was sticky in various places. Parking is limited and potentially problematic. Be sure to bring your own soap and shampoo for the shower. A large and noisy group staying in adjacent flats detracted from our experience -- Not the owner's fault, however.

This is a large, modern, bright apartment with all the conveniences you need for any length of stay. There is free on-site parking. The area is very quiet and modern, even though it is on the immediate perimeter of Hamburg. Depending on traffic, you are in the centre in a little under 30 minutes. The value / price ratio is excellent for an expensive city like Hamburg.
I could not find a temperature control. For me it was ok, but my gf is cold very quickly. The smaller windows have no shades - with a little effort, strangers could look into the bathroom or kitchen, or, through the voids between the shades and window frames, into the bedrooms. The windows could use a bit of cleaning.
