About this apartment rental
Welcome to our 87 sqm holiday apartment (2nd floor) in Essen-Frohnhausen. Centrally yet quietly located, it is perfect for trade fair visitors, business travelers, and families.
Your accommodation in detail:
• Bedrooms (2 rooms):
Both bedrooms feature high-quality beds with 5-zone mattresses and toppers. Our special service for you: We can flexibly arrange the beds in both rooms as large double beds or as separate single beds, entirely according to your preference. Electric exterior shutters allow for complete blackout and a deep sleep.
• Living area:
Make yourself comfortable on the leather couch or in the comfortable TV chairs. Entertainment is fully guaranteed: A new, huge 65-inch TV, a DVD player, and a hi-fi system are ready for relaxing evenings.
• Kitchen:
The fully equipped Nolte kitchen leaves nothing to be desired (dishwasher, ceramic hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer). A massive bonus for longer stays: An integrated washing machine is also located here! You can comfortably enjoy your meals at the large table with leather chairs and a leather bench.
• Bathroom:
The large daylight bathroom features a spacious bathtub with an integrated rain shower and a real-glass shower screen.
• Outdoor area & House Rules: Our quiet 7 sqm balcony with comfortable seating invites you to relax in the fresh air.
Important note: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the entire apartment, but it is explicitly allowed here on the balcony.
Location & Parking:
Messe Essen (trade fair) can be reached in approx. 10 mins by car. Public transport and a large supermarket are within a short walking distance. Fast 300 Mbit Wi-Fi is included, as well as free public parking in our street.

Markus was a perfect host. He touched base with us a few times before our arrival, assuring us an easy entrance to the flat, and again during our stay. It was extraordinarily clean, decorated in neutral colors, simple but with an abundance of extras that a traveler needs; coffee, paper products, water, towels, even some toiletries/ sundries if forgotten. The kitchen looked on to a small garden and the deck was large enough for two to eat a meal. Large seating in living room and room for 4 to sit and eat in kitchen. Washing machine and dishwasher worked great. 3 floor walk up so good to be in shape. Some interesting characters around local grocery and parks, but no trouble and everyone was nice. Always seemed to have a good parking spot and WiFi was strong and reliable. I wish I could figure out how to cast my tv show on to the smart TV, but the BBC channel was fine for an English speaker like me.
Overall- great rest and fond memories of this delightful spot and generous host.

Die Wohnung ist Top. Es ist eine komplette Erstausstattung an allem was man braucht vorhanden - falls mal was zu Hause geblieben ist. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Allen Kommentaren, die bislang über die exklusive FeWo geschrieben wurden, schließen wir uns mit Freude und voller Überzeugung an.
Wir hatten u. a. an der Essener Universität der Künste zu tun. Schnell waren abends die Tisch - und Stehlampen eingeschaltet, die wie Lichtinseln eine gemütliche Atmosphäre verbreiteten. Gerne sanken wir in die bequemen Relaxsessel, hörten Musik, schauten Filme aus dem immensen hauseigenen Fundus, stöberten durch die unaufdringlich bereitgelegte Literatur über Essens Geschichte und das Ruhrgebiet.
Sehr feinfühlig empfanden wir die Farbkombinationen im Bad (grau und altrosa), die durchgängige Farbe der Böden, angenehm fürs Auge die sanften Farbtöne der Teppiche und der geschmackvollen Bettwäsche.
Alle Zimmer strahlen Ruhe aus und bilden eine gelungene Farbharmonie. Die Behaglichkeit wird betont durch Fotos an den Wänden von den typischen Kohlenpott-Attraktionen, sodass hier auf stadt - und landestypischer Ebene auf die Besonderheiten des Weltkulturerbes aufmerksam gemacht wird. (Wohnzimmer und in den Schlafzimmern).
Vom Schuhlöffel bis zum Vergrößerungs/Kosmetikspiegel ist an alles gedacht. Und Nagellackentferner steht neben den Nähutensilien auch dezent parat.
Exklusives Wohnen auf Zeit - für uns eine Woche mit perfekt durchdachten Annehmlichkeiten und spürbar auf jedem Quadratzentimeter.

Perfect. Lovely apartment. Clean, spacious, modern. Photos do not do it justice.Greeted by very friendly host. Beers, mineral water and so much more provided on arrival.Great location. Hot bread rolls just around the corner. Supermarket close by. Everyone so friendly. Easy direct train trip from Dusseldorf airport to Essen West. Hope to visit again one day.
