Welcome to my home in the fabled Movie Colony of Palm Springs. Newly available, this is a special place to stay. Totally remodeled to provide all the comforts of modern vacation living in a 2700 square foot space while preserving the vintage appeal of the glamorous Palm Springs lifestyle.
Situated on a quiet street, the Convention Center, Casino and downtown are within easy walking distance. There are stunning mountain views from both the front of the house and from the rear garden. With a 37 feet long saltwater pool you can lap swim or just laze in the water. Relax on one of the comfortable chaises, or in the jetted spa. Sip cocktails or dine al fresco on the cool veranda. The completely private garden offers you a free and relaxed lifestyle.
IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE. This is not a party house. We are in a quiet residential area which strictly observes the Palm Springs noise ordinances. Any excess noise or outside music will result in police visits and fines which are the renters responsibility
Inside the house, sink in to the luxury of a large living room furnished with vintage pieces and contemporary art, or wander in to the media room and watch satellite TV on the 50-in screen. Choose Netflix or Prime or record your favorite programs to the DVR. This is a comfortable room for reading, relaxing and watching the magical light change over the mountains.
The expansive living space features a dining area with a classic contemporary table which extends to seat 12. Impress your guests as you swing open the cool pass through door to bring out your creations from the kitchen, which has all new cabinets, surfaces, high end appliances and every gadget and utensil a chef can desire. I provide an extensive choice of dishes to suit every occasion.
The house has a water softening and purifying system throughout to make your drinking water pristine and to counteract the hard desert water.
There are three bedrooms. The master has a California king bed and extensive mirrored closet space. There is a glass topped desk overlooking the garden if you need to catch up with work or just check your emails. Complimentary wireless internet extends throughout the house and garden. The walk in shower and master bath lead directly out to the garden and pool.
The second bedroom has a king size bed and stunning views of the San Jacinto mountains. The bathroom is just across the hall and serves as the guest bathroom too.
At the other end of the house is an attached casita. Entered either from the garden or through a door in the dining room this quiet bedroom with its king size bed and elegant bathroom has an air of privacy and tranquility. Just right if you want to get away for a little R and R!
Every bedroom has cable TV. The living area has an iPod sound dock so that you can enjoy your own music.

We rented the house for the month of November and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's an older house with a few quirks, but once you understand them, it's a joy to spend time there.
It's in an amazing location (super walkable), has a wonderful spa, comfortable beds, plenty of space, and is an extremely pleasant place to relax and hang out. It also feels lived in- not a barely furnished rental. Lots of artwork about and personal touches. The kitchen is well stocked with tons of tools, pots and pans, etc. The stove and gas range are terrific. (Note- microwave is set a bit high up, so not the best for shorter folks.)
Bedrooms are well done, spacious, and nicely spread out. Bathrooms are good too. We didn't use the pool much but it's lovely. Spa worked great. (I already miss those jets.)
The house is a wee bit on the chilly side (during the winter), but this bodes well for using it in warmer months. In any case, the heating and AC work very well. And there's a lovely fireplace in the stylish living room. We spent many an hour relaxing on the sofa in front of it.
There were a few issues with the electrical system, but the property manager and owners were extremely responsive and all was solved as quickly as possible.
We would not hesitate to stay here again!

My husband and I had the good fortune of finding this very special rental home in Palm Springs. The owner, Andrew, couldn’t have been more accommodating, professional and easy to talk to. And Andrew’s House Manager, Steve, was incredibly helpful, attentive and the consummate host.
The house was “as pictured” on the website. The entire home is impeccably decorated with clean lines, mid-century modern furniture and furnishings, cool artwork and much attention was paid to detail.
The meticulously manicured grounds include five distinctively different seating areas that include two outdoor dining options. We took the opportunity to have many of our meals outdoors so that we could enjoy the peace and quiet. The sparkling pool was not only the “Star of the house,” but was immaculate, refreshing, and delightful.
And what can I say about the kitchen? OMG! It was stocked with everything a foodie who cooks and bakes could ask for. Andrew was even gracious enough to provide me with a new rolling pin as I do quite a bit of baking when I’m on vacation. Bravo, Andrew! And thank you, Andrew for the jar of your homemade grapefruit preserves. What a surprise and culinary treat.
As is our tradition, we hosted a small dinner party for our local friends and was able to set a spectacular table using the quality place settings, dishes, flatware, serving trays and glassware perfectly organized and stored. It was an overwhelming success.
When we come back to Palm Springs, this will definitely be where we will be kicking off our shoes and jumping into the pool.

We have be vacationing in PS for over 7 years and this is our first time at this property. Far and away the best yard and best location of any place we have rented before. Lots of shady grass areas, great deck furniture, lovely pool (a bit cool for the first part of our stay as we opted not to heat for $40 per day); very well equiped kitchen. We play tennis so it was great to be so close to the park. Would reccomend this listing and hope to stay there again next year. Property manager was very attentive and responded immediately to our text messages. Thanks again!
