Carol was lovely, very welcoming. The house was exactly what we were hoping for. Close enough to nearby activities and stores but very secluded. The kids loved that they could sled right in the yard. The only thing I would note, and this is not something I hold against the owner just want to point out for future visitors, there are lots of scented candles and things throughout the cabin to add to the ambiance. If you are sensitive to smells I would look for other options.

This was our second time staying at this cabin and we absolutely enjoyed are stay. Carol is a wonderful host and the cabin is very clean and secluded. However it is close to town and hiking locations. During the night you can hear the water from the brook and we loved that. The fire place is a huge plus for us. We have stayed at other cabins but nothing has come close to this one. Thank you again Carol for having us back:)
