Lakefront cottage with dock, screened porch, & Island in Biscay Pond

Everything was lovely, ither than a small issue when checking in (got it quickly sorted with a phone call). The lake was wonderful, I think the kids would have become fish if they could have. There were plenty of other camps and people, but the cabin is fairly secluded and private. We would definitely book again if we need to get away from it all.

There is no air conditioning in the cabin, I was unaware of this because in the checkout instructions, it says to reset the air conditioner to 70°.

Clean rustic waterfront Truly a camp setting.

We enjoyed playing board games together on the screened in porch each evening while swatting off the mosquito attacks. Large, equipped kitchen for making family meals. The views out to the lake were beautiful! Serenaded by a loon on the lake every night! We named him “Larry”! Glad we didn’t pay more than $200/night for it.

Bathroom! Small, and way too rustic. Got 11 bug bites on just one foot! Spiders in very cramped beds. Multi-level room layout; tripped on stairs numerous times. Ran out of toilet paper, and fresh water bottle supply, but mgmt brought more water. Trash was full by day 2 of 7-day stay, and only had two large trash bags for our family. Had to get creative with trash disposal. WIFI was finicky; could only use in kitchen. Visits from management company and pest control during our stay-weird. Ran out of dish soap. Kinda stingey with supplies! Lack of insulation led to big swings in house temperature.
