• ꙮ Villa Despina is situated 70 metres from the pretty beach of Kloni Gouli and 2 kilometres from the charming and cosmopolitan Gaios making it perfectly placed for a relaxing Paxos holiday.
Ideal for family holidays and romantic breaks alike the villa enjoys an uninterrupted 180-degree view, stretching from the southern cliffs of Corfu, across to the rugged mountains of the Greek mainland, along the olive clad shoreline of Paxos, to the picturesque island of Panagia.
The villa enjoys an elevated position, nestling into the hillside, only 50 metres from the clear Ionian Sea. Comfortable seating and lounging areas around the villa allow you to take full advantage of the scenery. The well designed outside areas offer plenty of vantage points from which to enjoy the ever-changing vista.
From loungers around the private infinity pool and the shaded dining area on the villa s terrace the comings and goings of the yachts sailing the Paxos waters during the day and the twinkling lights of distant villages on the mainland in the starlit night are sure to enthrall. Alfresco living can be further enjoyed with the newly built outdoor kitchen, complete with BBQ, prep area, fridge and dining area.
Inside the comforts of home have not been forgotten. The open plan living area, incorporating the kitchen and dining area, is furnished in a homely and stylish way with a comfortable sofa and armchair and large flat screen TV and DVD player. Satellite TV, WiFi Internet access and an iPod docking station are also available. Double balcony doors open up onto the shaded terrace and sea view.
Two twin bedrooms and two shower rooms (one en suite) are also found on the ground floor. Both bedrooms are comfortably and thoughtfully styled with balcony doors opening onto the sea view.
Upstairs the comfortable and spacious double bedroom (with shower room) boasts two private balconies which offer spectacular views, the perfect spot for watching the sun rising above the mountains over a quiet morning coffee.

Villa Despina was a delightful place to stay for a week. The central villa of the group of three, all are well positioned above the clear waters of Glioni(?) beach. The coastal road runs between the beach and the three houses, two of which are owned and rented by Spiros and one is owned and rented by his cousin. The two to the north are identical in size and layout, and smaller than the larger villa to the south. The villa is clean, simple, comfortable - and the air conditioning worked very well. Spiros is extremly hospitable and welcoming without being intrusive. Sheets changed twice in the week, and the pool maintained and cleaned. The wi-fi is a bit slow, but that is to be expected. The views from the villa over to Parga on the mainland to the east are magnificent, particularly just after sunrise. We rented a car, drove to Gaios, Magazia, and Loggos for lunch and supper; we also rented a motor boat which we enjoyed enormously. The coastal road is not too busy: its quiet in the morning, but there is traffic from 8am-7pm. We love Paxos and would certainly consider returning.

We stayed in both Villa Despina and Kalypso. Both excellent properties with a stay in Epirus on mainland in between. We felt like we were returning home to our second stay. The beach so close and the pool lovely. I will miss the views from the balconies . Spiros has the kitchen set up with food which was awesome so we need not rush out for groceries. The listing description and photos are accurate. Beautiful setting! Late May the island is not so busy and people so welcoming . Ocean chilly but nice . Swam daily on the pool.

Never in all of the years of renting have we been welcomed with this generous amount and variety of fresh food and beverages. Thanks to Spiros, we could avoid the market for days.
The setting is lovely and the outdoor areas were perfect. Quality linens and ample size bedrooms. My only negative, the common living, dinning and kitchen area would be too small if you were stuck indoors.

Fantastic villa with beautiful views and well placed.Beach below the villa was lovely. Two beach bars within a moment’s walk. Spiros was excellent and really helpful. We would love to go back.
