We had a fantastic time. The house is walking distance to great restaurants and the view from the yard is breathtaking. Wonderful vacation with friends.

This house was amazing! It had room to spread out and a large dining room table that we played games on. Loved the ocean view and how close it was to the park.

The view of the harbor and the strait beyond is tremendous, as depicted in the photos. We spent much time gazing out to sea and watching the ships and small craft coming and going. We also enjoyed seeing a family of deer who had made a home on the grounds. However, there were some drawbacks that are worth mentioning for the benefit of other prospective renters. There is a rule prohibiting the wearing of shoes inside, which is rather onerous especially when loading and unloading the car for the day or the week. Also, there are some spots on the wood floor which are slick enough to be hazardous when wearing only socks, and at least one nail protruding from the wood that we found with our bare feet. Also troublesome was the absence of coverings for the bathroom windows – particularly the 1st floor bathroom which is adjacent to the patio and the path to the back yard. We were compelled to tape towels up in order to have any privacy. The owner imposed an unusual requirement to meet a property management representative prior to check-in so we could sign a waiver. The language in the waiver would have required us to assume liability for any damage occurring as a result of incidents beyond our control. Further, it proved difficult to elicit a response from the owner when multiple maintenance problems were discovered over several days.
