It was perfect for our family trip! Nice quiet location after visiting Ruby Falls and Rock City. It rained so didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit. Would definitely stay here again. Joe (the owner) stopped by and checked on us. Bonus was having a Publix near by if we needed anything.

We loved the outdoor areas. If you walk out the back door and go to your right along the tree line, after a bit you will come to an area of the creek with a small bench that is perfect for meditation or quiet sitting overlooking the creek. Heading back left along the creek gives you nice views of the field between the creek and house, which this season was full of small spring wildflowers. After passing the house and continuing on you will find a fire pit, swing, and picnic table with access to the creek for wading or sitting on the large rocks along the edge.. We also enjoyed all of our meals on the back porch and inside had a great time playing pool. We found everything we needed for cooking meals. The house was clean and the Wi-Fi signal strong. Our host showed up Saturday morning to check in and see if we needed anything and recommended local hiking trails and even brought us some extra firewood and extra seating for the firepit. We had a great time and appreciate his kindness and generosity.

Property owner very responsive; great location in terms of being on a dead end/away from traffic. Porch not screened in. Contacted owner prior to our stay to inquire about WiFi as I would be working during the day, no issue aside from it dropping one of the workdays for the entire day. Brought backup/mobile hotspot to use. We had our dogs; joe friendly/apologized for interrupting. Two occasions I informed him I was in the middle of a meeting, but he continued to inquire about pet fee. I selected the pet stay & confirmed booking through VRBO w selecting pet stay; stay confirmed by separate Evolve company. Joe did take it upon himself to get rid of a yellow jacket nest. We have active dogs that were stung multiple times, as well as my husband. Shouldn’t be an issue outside of Summer season. The yellow jackets moved down to the creek following/beware if traveling w animals. Our pups were stung 3/5 days! Owner resides one driveway up. After telling me it was no big deal, he had Evolve reach out further for additional pet fee. Too many interruptions personally for just trying to enjoy a visit. This location asks you to clean, mop, sweep, and wash/dry towels. In addition to all of that you’d never have known anyone was there for cleaning/pet fee. Took photos of Cheerios left in living room upon arrival… speaking of cleaning.
