This is a beautiful piece of land. It is very scenic and there were a lot of different types of animals we observed: Ground hogs, deer, hummingbirds, fireflies, and a friendly stork dropped by a few times. We were only 10-15 minutes away from stores or restaurants, yet we felt like we were much farther away from town. We spent a lot of time on the deck just taking in the views. There is a creek nearby, and a small picnic area to watch the creek from on the property as well. The kitchen was easy to cook in, there is a pool table in the house, and a large enough table for 4-6 people to sit around and play games. A good living room and television if you want to sit and watch a movie together. Mostly we just took in the fresh air. We had just one wi-fi outage, but that was due to an issue that required a visit by the provider for the area to repair. We hardly noticed that we had an issue. It is easy roads to travel until you get to the road where the house is and it is a one and a half lane but that services just a few houses, so no traffic issues near the house at all. We highly recommend this place, and may rebook it for ourselves on another weekend!

Property owner very responsive; great location in terms of being on a dead end/away from traffic. Porch not screened in. Contacted owner prior to our stay to inquire about WiFi as I would be working during the day, no issue aside from it dropping one of the workdays for the entire day. Brought backup/mobile hotspot to use. We had our dogs; joe friendly/apologized for interrupting. Two occasions I informed him I was in the middle of a meeting, but he continued to inquire about pet fee. I selected the pet stay & confirmed booking through VRBO w selecting pet stay; stay confirmed by separate Evolve company. Joe did take it upon himself to get rid of a yellow jacket nest. We have active dogs that were stung multiple times, as well as my husband. Shouldn’t be an issue outside of Summer season. The yellow jackets moved down to the creek following/beware if traveling w animals. Our pups were stung 3/5 days! Owner resides one driveway up. After telling me it was no big deal, he had Evolve reach out further for additional pet fee. Too many interruptions personally for just trying to enjoy a visit. This location asks you to clean, mop, sweep, and wash/dry towels. In addition to all of that you’d never have known anyone was there for cleaning/pet fee. Took photos of Cheerios left in living room upon arrival… speaking of cleaning.
