Nice cozy cabin on a lake with perfect location-close to Glacier west entrance and near Columbia Falls (services, restaurants), but still in the woods and out of the city. Communication with host was a bit delayed as I had to reach out on day of arrival as others indicated, but didn’t impact anything as arrival instructions were simple and everything worked as expected at the cabin. We had a great time and would definitely consider renting again if we travel to Glacier again. Can’t beat a cabin on the lake!

We really don't care if we sleep on rocks or without the roof over our heads. We're very easy to please and easily satisfied. We've been taking road trips all over the country in the last 10 years, and sure there's always lil things here and there. But most of the time we're very pleased and happy. This property is located on an amazing small, peaceful lake. Its paradise. Pair of loons which is the most amazing sound ever. House is spacious for 2 adults and 3 kids under 13. Bedroom and a loft above the main floor and a bedroom on the lower level. We've figured we'll put the kids upstairs and well sleep on the lower level. After putting kids to bed the first night and going down to lay in the bed, we've noticed a dead mouse next to the bed and mouse droppings on the stairs(we have photos to prove it). So we picked up, went upstairs, moved the oldest to an inflatable mattress and we spent the rest of the stay on the top floor. No cause for panic. We made it work. It was fun. Kids were catching perch like crazy off the dock. The rest of the stay was very good until I tried to use the row boat. There was 2 boats at the dock. A plastic paddle boat which we had to use and a useless aluminum row boat. The OARS on that boat are useless and it made very difficult to get that boat out on the lake. Those were taped with duct tape and gorilla tape. Its embarrassing. They were sliding in and out of the brackets. Popping in and out of the holders. We couldn't row. It took forever to get back once we got out on the lake. My kid actually caught a large trout while trying to get back to the dock with the old, terrible oars. It took us forever.(according to a neighbor that lived at the lake for 8 years, was first trout he heard about) I would of gave this place 5 starts if it wasn't for the oars and maybe some room for a firepit.
